2024 NFL schedule rumors: What will the Dolphins schedule look like this year?

The 2024 NFL schedule will be released on Wednesday, revealing the days and times for games throughout the league’s 18-week slate. Leading up to the release, we will have plenty of leaks, rumors, and reports of when the Miami Dolphins will be playing next year. We will keep up with all of the latest right here, building the schedule as best we can.

We have known since the end of the 2023 season who the Dolphins would be playing in 2024 and whether those opponents will be headed to Miami or if the Dolphins would be traveling for the game. The league builds opponents based on a rotation of divisions each year, with some games determined by where each team finishes within their respective division. For the Dolphins, who ended 2023 in second place in the AFC East, their 2024 opponents are:

What we know

• The season will open with the Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night, continuing the tradition of the Super Bowl champion kicking off the seaon.
• The Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles will meet on Friday in Week 1 from Brazil.
• Week 1’s Monday Night Football game will feature the New York Jets at the San Francisco 49ers, taking out two possible Dolphins opponents for the opening weekend.

What we think we know

• The Buccaneers appear to have released, then deleted, that they will be playing the Dolphins in the preseason. The game is expected to have joint practices involved between the two teams as well.

• SB Nation’s Matt Warren has the Dolphins at Bills game set for Week 9.

• Warren also has the Bills at Jets in Week 6 on Monday Night Football.

• Tyler Dunne of Go Long reported, with Warren confirming, the 49ers at Bills game will be played on Sunday Night Football in Week 13.

• Just Jets Podcast host Matt O’Leary has a full Jets schedule, with several of the games having been confirmed from other sources. If this is the correct schedule, the Dolphins will visit the Jets in Week 14 then host them in Week 18 as the season finale. The Patriots at Bills game has been reported for Week 18 as well, which, with the NFL’s tradition of putting division games in the final week of the season, leads to Jets at Dolphins fitting perfectly.

• Lots of online rumors, but no full reports yet, that the Jaguars will be in Miami for Week 1.
• Matt Scheidman, the Packers beat reporter for The Athletic, reports the Dolphins will be facing Green Bay on Thanksgiving night.

• Another set of rumors that seem to be floating around without a confirmation right now has the Dolphins on the road in Week 3 to face the Seahawks.
• NFL Schedule Update Twitter/X Account has the Dolphins facing the Tennessee Titans in Week 4, the Patriots in Week 5, the Colts in Week 7, the Rams in Week 10, the Texans in Week 15, and the Browns in Week 17.

• Rumors indicate the Dolphins’ bye week is Week 6.
• Kyle Crabbs has the Dolphins facing the Tennessee Titans in Week 4’s Monday Night Football game.
