In most metrics, the Cleveland Browns defense was the best, or one of the best, in Jim Schwartz’s first year leading the group. Sadly, the defensive unit was taken to town in the NFL playoffs which has led to a few changes going into Schwartz’s second year.
With NFL free agency, the NFL draft and undrafted free agent signings mostly behind us, it is a good time to reset the Browns roster. We started with the offense which has 42 of the team’s 90-man roster. Now we turn to the defensive depth chart and what changes on that unit going into the 2024 season.
