For the Los Angeles Rams, the roster is pretty much set for OTAs. The draft and undrafted free agents, while not yet fully signed, give the Rams a full house for workouts. Pundits have weighed in and graded the additions, and now is the time for player profiles.
Before the draft took place, back on April 22, I posted a Top 300 big board of prospects and used it on draft day as a scorecard to follow along the festivities. To bring the exercise full circle, here’s how my projections fared out. 78 of the Top 100 were chosen within that area and overall, 217 of 257 draft projections were selected.
Here’s how the Top 100 played fared against the actual draft. NFL picks are in bold.

Brandon and I were giggling watching Beaux Limmer up close today. He has some limitations, but he's a glass eater with the compete skills that NFL OL coaches will love. https://t.co/J84MngVmCD

Biggest misses, both over and under rated
The highest profile misses were Oregon wide receiver Troy Franklin (#38/#103) and Iowa State cornerback TJ Tampa (#43/#130). I had them both as early Round 2 picks, but they didn’t land until Round 4. As a matter of fact, of the 15 corners in the Top 100 corners, all except three, Max Melton (#53/#43), Mike Sainristil (#69/#50), and Andru Phillips (#91/#70) went later than where I had them slated.
On the overrated side, the biggest miss was Miami defensive tackle Leonard Taylor. I had him in early Round 3 (#74), but alas, he went undrafted. After that it was Boston College guard Christian Mahogany (#68/#210), USC wide receiver Brenden Rice (#88/#225), Arkansas center Beaux Limmer (#99/#217), Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis (#72/#171), and Auburn cornerback DJ James (#97/#192).
There were also players that were underrated. Illinois tight end Tip Reiman (#205/#82), Penn State right tackle Caeden Wallace (#183/#68), and Mizzou linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper (#181/#91) all were selected in Round 3 even though I had Round 6 grades on them. Two more offensive linemen, TCU tackle Brandon Coleman (#165/#67) and Illinois guard Isaiah Adams (#175/#71) went early Round 3, even though I slated the for late in Round 5.
