The 2024 NFL playoffs are upon us, and the Detroit Lions are in it!

While I’m sure most—if not all—of your focus this week has been on the Lions’ upcoming game against the Los Angeles Rams, there are other great football matchups on tap this weekend. In fact, if you’re just a fan of the NFL, don’t take it for granted. There are only 13 games left before the cold and frigid offseason. With that few, certainly you’d want to take in every last one, right?

Things kick off with a doubleheader on Saturday, both in the AFC. First, Joe Flacco and the Cleveland Browns take on the electric rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud and the surprising Houston Texans. These are two franchises who have gone through nearly as many hard times as the Lions, so it’s nice to see them in the playoffs.

That game kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Shortly after that game ends, the Miami Dolphins will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in a battle of two teams who seemed like they were going to be kings of the conference before some late-season struggles. Miami went 2-3 in their final five, while the Chiefs were 3-3 in their last six. The frigid air of Kansas City should make that an interesting challenge for the high-paced Dolphins offense.

That game starts at 8 p.m. ET and is exclusively on Peacock (or NFL+).

If you plan on watching these games and want to hang out, scroll down to the comment section hand chat along with fellow Lions fans during the games.
