The Boston Celtics have waived two-way big man Nathan Knight, per the team.

The 26-year-old appeared in 12 games with the Maine Celtics this season. In 22.9 minutes per game, he averaged 8.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 44.6% from the field.

Knight was signed to a two-way spot ahead of the season after spending training camp with the New York Knicks. He has three years of NBA experience under his belt, spending his first year (2020-21) with the Atlanta Hawks and the following two years with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Boston now has one open two-way spot, with JD Davison and Neemias Queta taking up the other two.
