Cleveland Cavaliers Daily Links for Oct. 26: Opening night rotation thoughts

Down two guys, here’s who Cleveland played.

The first sip

Some quick rotation thoughts after Cavs-Nets:

  • Isaac Okoro was straight up good on both ends. His defense on Mikal Bridges to start and Cam Thomas later in the game were huge. And on offense, Okoro cut, took and hit threes and got to the free throw line five times. Throw in him adding in a good rebounding night and this is the template for how Okoro can make an impact on this team.
  • Perhaps his minutes were limited somewhat by early foul trouble, but Damian Jones was limited to 11 minutes as Cleveland skewed smaller. Does that continue when Jarrett Allen is back, as well as Dean Wade?
  • Eight minutes for Ty Jerome, all in the first half. As the game went on, Caris LeVert was the backup point guard.
  • Tough debut for Georges Niang. He finished scoreless and had issues defending wings.
