Latrell Sprewell scored 31 of his 48 points in the fourth quarter and the first overtime and the New York Knicks survived a pair of game-tying 3-pointers to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 129-127 in double-overtime Saturday.

Sprewell tied a Knicks record by making nine 3-pointers, but it was Clarence Weatherspoon who broke the last tie by making two free throws with 1.9 seconds left in the second overtime.

The Knicks won their third in a row and handed the Bucks their third consecutive home loss.

Ray Allen hit a 3-pointer to send the game to overtime, and Michael Redd hit a 3 to send it to a second overtime.

Milwaukee tied it at 127 on Glenn Robinson's jumper from the top of the key with 3.2 seconds left. After a timeout, New York inbounded on the left side and worked the ball to Weatherspoon in the right corner. He was pushed in the chest by Darvin Ham as he released the shot, then calmly sank two free throws.

Redd's shot from the free-throw line bounced off the rim at the buzzer.

Glenn Robinson, who missed the previous 14 games with a bruised left thigh, led the Bucks with a season-high 38 points. Ray Allen added 23 points, Anthony Mason had 22 points and 18 rebounds and Sam Cassell added 20 points.

Allan Houston scored 34 points, Kurt Thomas had 18 and Mark Jackson added 15 points and 15 assists for New York, which hit the low point of its season on Monday with a 43-point home loss to Charlotte.

Since then, the Knicks have defeated Toronto, Phoenix and Milwaukee. The three-game winning streak matches their longest of the season.

Jackson opened the second overtime with two baskets to give New York a 121-117 lead. The Bucks pulled within 121-119 on two free throws by Cassell, but Jackson's 3-pointer with 2:18 left made it 124-119.

Four consecutive free throws by Mason brought the Bucks within 124-123, and Robinson's two free throws with 31 seconds left put Milwaukee on top 125-124 -- the Bucks' first lead since 22-21 in the first quarter.
