Knicks’ Bojan Bogdanovic out, Mitchell Robinson questionable for Game 5

The Knicks will be without at least one key second-unit player, and quite possibly two, as they attempt to close out the 76ers.

Bojan Bogdanovic has been ruled out of the Knicks’ potential series-clinching Game 5 due a left-foot contusion suffered at the beginning of the second quarter of Sunday’s road win.

Mitchell Robinson, who sat out Game 4 with a sprain of his surgically repaired left ankle, again has been listed as questionable.

Jalen Brunson, who played through a knee-to-knee collision with Kyle Lowry late in the third quarter, also showed up on the injury report as probable with a right knee contusion.

Bogdanovic checked into Game 4 with under a minute remaining in the first quarter, but he was out of the game just 19 seconds into the second after Nicolas Batum was called for a foul as both players dove for a loose ball.

Bogdanovic limped off the court, headed to the Knicks’ locker room and didn’t return.

Bogdanovic also has been playing through a left-wrist injury since late in the regular season.

The 10-year NBA veteran had averaged 8.0 points over the first three games of this series, while hitting 40.0 percent (6-for-15) from 3-point range.

Tom Thibodeau went with just seven players after Bogdanovic’s departure, with Precious Achiuwa logging 20 minutes off the bench with Robinson sidelined.

Joel Embiid (knee maintenance) again is listed as questionable for the Sixers, as he has before playing in each of the first four games.

His 35.0 points per game, including 50 in Game 3, is the highest scoring average in this year’s first round, just ahead of Brunson (33.0).

The league said Monday there were two missed calls — one in favor of each team — in the last two minutes of Game 4.

According to the “Last Two Minute” report, Tyrese Maxey should have been called for a violation for standing inside the 3-point arc on Brunson’s missed free throw with 1:32 remaining and the Knicks leading 93-89.

Also, Josh Hart should have been called for traveling with the Knicks bringing up the ball with a five-point lead and 48.8 seconds to go.

De’Anthony Melton, who had only appeared in seven games since January due to a recurring back issue, played seven minutes without scoring a point in Game 4 in his series debut.
