Knicks interested in trading for PJ Washington

- by

The Knicks have shown legitimate interest in PJ Washington, sources said, as they examine their options. The Knicks appear more interested in Toronto guard Bruce Brown Jr., for whom the Raptors are seeking some return in the range of a first-round pick, compared to Atlanta’s steeper asking price of two picks and then some for Dejounte Murray. It’s become clear the Knicks aren’t willing to part with Quentin Grimes unless New York is trading the young swingman for a perceived upgrade, sources said, as opposed to swapping him for a different back-of-the-rotation piece.

I would be shopping Miles, PJ Washington and Cody Martin very hard right now. PJW and Martin are both on fair value, multi-year contracts. The #Hornets have done their part by Miles — pick up his QO and give him a second chance. All three of these players have quit on this team. – 8:28 AM

Jake Fisher on Mavericks potential targets: Jerami Grant is another name that keep an eye on… I keep hearing other names as well: Andrew Wiggins, Dorian Finney-Smith, PJ Washington… There’s definitely more but seems like Dallas compared to Sacramento is more open to a wider range of potential targets versus the Kings. -via Apple Podcasts / February 4, 2024
Charlotte still considers Lowry a possible re-trade candidate, sources said, while the Hornets are also evaluating trade options for Gordon Hayward, sources said.  Two other players receiving quite a bit of interest from rival teams are P.J. Washington and reserve center Nick Richards, according to league sources. -via Yahoo! Sports / February 2, 2024
