Julius Randle’s wife shades Knicks forward’s All-Star doubters

Julius Randle’s wife said what she said.

Kendra Randle shared a strong PSA about the Knicks star’s performance so far this season in a post on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, which encouraged fans to vote for Randle to play in the NBA All-Star game in Indianapolis on Feb. 18.

“Go vote for this man!!” she wrote, including a post from the Knicks campaigning for Randle to earn his third All-Star nod. “No one will talk about how crazy it is that this is even a conversation. How he just had surgery 5 months ago on his ankle and still managed to put up these #s.

“You never cease to amaze me. 3 X HIM!!!!”

“Side note: Brag on the people you love and are proud of.”

Kendra was referring to when Randle underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle in June after playing through a series of ankle injuries at the end of last season.

After a slow start to the season, the 6-foot-8 forward is putting up impressive numbers.

Randle is averaging 22.4 points on 46 percent shooting, 9.5 rebounds and 5.2 assists so far this season.

The Indiana Pacers will host the 73rd NBA All-Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Randle, along with Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson, are both in the 2024 All-Star conversation, but it’s a tight race, with big-name stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid and Jayson Tatum in the East.

Brunson was left off last year’s All-Star squads and was snubbed for both midseason and postseason awards.

Randle, whose salary this season is $25.7 million, has a $1.38 million All-Star bonus for 2024, according to Spotrac.

He earned an extra $1.28 million for making the 2023 All-Star team.

Brunson, who will earn $26.3 million this season, has no All-Star bonuses in his deal.

Fans have until Jan. 20 to vote for players for this year’s NBA All-Star Game on the NBA App or NBA.com.

The Knicks host the Milwaukee Bucks on Dec. 23.
