I don't get it- what's the catch? I posted yesterday I didn't get all the Cam Reddish hype, but all the writers were saying he was the most sought after player and had high value. So how did we get him for just the Charlotte pick?! We didn't even have to give up Grimes!

It’s a wait and see. I’d rather of held out the 1 for a pg

Jalen Brunson sends his regards for next year man. Also IQ, McBride, Jokubaitis all say hi

Most sought after does not equal most valued. Guess most teams thought he'd be obtainable for cheap if ours was the winning offer?

Good trade! Reddish is only 22 but has been injury prone and inconsistent but has shown flashes of being a solid player. Pretty much got him for free but we now have a bit of a jam on the wing. I hope this doesn't send Grimes out of the rotation.

His trade value is shed load higher even if you don't like him as a player- commentators have been ridiculously hyping him since last years playoffs as the next promising 3 and d guy

It's weird to have us do a trade where it looks like we pulled off a daylight robbery!

Wonder what our next move is- we must have something up our sleeves to free up playing time

How is this going to be different when he's standing and watching Randle/RJ/Rose/Kemba. I like the trade, but I wouldn't say we fleeced Atlanta. Can, while talented, is very inconsistent and is still in search of game. I like this deal, but it's a gamble.

Useless trade. SG/SF is the one position where the Knicks have a lot of options: RJ, Fournier, Grimes, IQ will also get minutes at SG. At least we did not give up a lot, but hard to see where Cam fits into the rotation, whereas Knox just sat at the end of the bench. Probably the real reason was to make RJ happy ahead of re-signing him and give Knox a fresh start ahead of his contract year.

No mention of us fleecing the Mavs in the KP trade? Which actually figures into this move since it was one of the Mavs #1's that figured into the draft night moves.

But just like the KP trade everyone is off to a rush to judgment. Cam has great "potential." Maybe Thibs is the guy to facilitate it. Or crush it. Maybe Knox finds a home in Hotlanta.

Anyway, I like it. And strongly suspect there is another move in the hopper.

Could be a trade before a bigger trade. Maybe we move Fournier next.

AND IQ may become the starting PG.

So since the Porzingis trade brought us the Dallas pick at 19 last year and the Dallas pick brought us the Charlotte pick and the Charlotte pick brought us Cam Reddish we really must thank Cuban and the Mavs.
