Is MDA a Knick Consultant or assistant coach some where on the bench, because i definitely feel like I'm watching a team coach by him

LOL, credit Thibs for evolving. He has the players to pick up the pace. OBI was pigeonholed into “not a thibs guy” but looky what we got going now.

I think what we missed with our Elf hate was he did in fact try to up the pace and we did with with him.
That was then this is now. ………
Team went cold with a big lead but then went to the rim until things opened back up.
Good announcing with SVG discussing how team has evolved from last year. Randle did not have a great game shooting but his defense, rebounding and 7 assists was key.
We tired Embiid out quickly. Funny how small Mitch looked next to him.
Tobias harris is very good. He stepped up but then needed more. We were very balanced last night with many contributing.
This uptempo team has a place for KKnox if he can get off the bench. More so than last years team.
That plays out in some fashion.
Love the end to end OBI with the ball on the floor. His handle has improved! Work in progress!

last night in 48 minutes we got 32 points, 6 rebs, 6 assists and 3 TOs from the PG position and Rose/Kemba took 22 shots. That is how you patch a hole from last year.

Team feels like RJ/Jules/Mitch anchoring the defense while Thibs figure out which set of flamethrowers to use around them

Tuned in to the ultra-homer Sixers FM station for the last quarter.
It's funny listening to a Sixers fan critique Thibs for screaming at the refs and playing his starters in the last 2 minutes of the fourth quarter being up by 13.

Me, I love it.

After watching the 76ers I have come to the conclusion that they need Ben Simmons more than they think they do. Ben is flawed but he does amazing things that they take for granted. Joel is now finding out how much harder things are going to be for him when Ben is not around. I would take Ben any day on a team with enough shooting to cover for his lack of shooting.

Great bounce back win! Great sign how this team responded after that stinker in Orlando! You can tell Thibs really got into them for that game! The defensive effort was so good! To hold the runner up for MVP Embiid to 14 points on just 2/7 shooting and 5 turnovers is unheard of! Kudos to Mitch for playing great man to man D and kudos to Thibs for that defensive gameplan!

I also loved how we played offensively. We shared the ball and you didn't see a lot of Randle going one on one like you did against Orlando. There is just no reason to play hero ball on this team with the weapons we have.

Got to tell you, that was the most uneasy I've been about a 15 point leave in some time.

It has not taken long for me to jump fully onboard the Fournier train (opening night didn't hurt either).

He might not be all NBA defense, but I love the effort. Seems to be a smart player. Loved the double team SVG highlighted last night on Embiid. Evan made sure he was between Embiid and his man, the second ball hits the floor, he runs over for the double. Turnover, Knicks ball.

He hasn't forced the issue too much and has fit in seamlessly. Has hit clutch shots. Had another big three last night while Philly kept trying to keep their run alive.

Team France for the win!

Kyrie and Simmons are desperately needed on their respective teams, it's hilarious to here Embiid, KD and some fans insist that they will be fine with out those guys.

they are decent team (6th, 7th, 8th seed) without them, and a really good team (1st, 2nd 3rd seed) with them

What else are they suppose to say to the media? They want Simmons to play, but can’t whine about it.
Nets have no choice but to go on without Kyrie. In a few months, he might be back.

Why is it the more you get ensnared in work and are unable to watch the knicks, the better they do?!

you guys gotta DVR.

I start every game 60-90 late... FF through the commercials and halftime. If I really want to fly through I FF through the FTs as well and by crunch time I'm usually caught up. Only catch is you cant check the score. Its a mental game :)
