I liked what I saw from McBride, I'm really hoping he can develop like Marcus Smart- we really need a bench player who can play lockdown defense at the PG spot, especially with Kemba Walker not being too good at that end.

He's much smaller than Marcus Smart, unfortunately

Smart has 1 inch in height and a 1/2 inch in wingspan and standing reach on McBride. Not that big of a differential.
