The guys I’m focused on are Suggs and the Kentucky guys. Cade is the obvious #1 but let’s be honest it’s a 14% chance at best. Likelihood is we are still in the 4-9 range. If we are in the 4-6 range its Boston or Suggs. In the 7-9 range the target is probably Clarke. With the Dallas pick Askew and Jackson from Kentucky are in range. We have to remember that nearly every move was made with a Kentucky or CAA connection. This is how the knicks are operating now.

We all lean on the connections we have but I wouldn’t buy into the full blown CAA and Kentucky only connections

It won’t be only but it will be significant each offseason.

1- Suggs
2- RJ
3- Cunningham
4- Toppin
5- Mitch

Wowza. I know, I’ll stop teasing myself. We’ll definitely end up with the 10th and 25th picks.

Very frustrating that The Warriors and Rockets likely took a big step down due to injuries and trade demands. In addition to the play in tournament, it's really hard to see how the Mavs would miss the playoffs (likely they'll end with very high seeding)- but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

So far both those teams look really good. The play in tournament will be a bitch though and like everything else probably come back to haunt us later

I dunno if it is the short shorts, the long legs, the frame or the game, but looking like Kareem out there.

Is Jalen Johnson Ben Simmons with a jumper 😯 I know it's coppin state, but they're still D1 and Jalen looks he's balling against U14 AAU kids.

He's what the Bulls hope Patrick Williams develops into.

Dear God, please let Jalen Johnson sign with CAA for representation

I saw his HS highlights and wondered if it would translate to the NCAA and it does! He looks like Lebron out there, just more physically mature than everyone else. It looked easy for him out there. If any player can challenge Cade for the # 1 slot, its Jalen Johnson. Him and Cade are franchise players. Do need to see him shoot more 3's as his jumper is his only weakness but this dude is the truth!

If we come out of next years draft with any of the following players, we will be ready to turn the corner:

1. Cade Cunningham
1a. Jalen Johnson
2. Jalen Green
3. Jalen Suggs

Basically, anyone named Jalen

This thread is so calming. MKG, Rivers...all afterthoughts watching these college kids take the court. Even the 8th pick is gonna give us a player. People are gonna look back when the 2021 draft takes place and ask themselves why they were crying when the Knicks didn't pick Terry, Oturo or whoever. Obi pops and RJ improves with whoever we get in this tank season...

My only concern is that we pull the trigger on a trade for Westbrook that will have us just barely miss put on the playoffs and a top 10 pick ...Nothing about this new regime suggests that we will make such an asinine trade but as a long time Knick fan, most of us suffer from Knick PTSD

Those 5 are the main guys on my radar but I’m sure others will be there. If we grab one of these guys to play alongside Mitch, Obi, RJ and Quickley we are onto something.

Dammit, the Knicks are due for some luck

2020, fall 2 picks to #8 for Obi
2019, fall 2 picks to #3 for Barrett
2018, stay at #9 for Knox
2017, fall 1 pick to #8 for Frank
2016, pick #7 traded to Denver in Melo trade, Jamal Murray
2015, fall 2 picks to #4 for KP
2014, pick trade in Melo deal, ended up #12, Dario Saric

BJ Boston had 20 pts 10 rebs but its clear that his decision making is suspect(3-10 from 3 but just 1 assist in 38 mins yikes). Also watched a full play vid on him vs Morehead St and his defense looks concerning. He will likely improve a lot as season goes on but just things to keep an eye on.

To be fair, I am very happy we have Barrett. Yeah, it’s better to have Ja or Zion but I am excited to see how Barrett has helped himself all of these months.
