Odds the Julius Randle curse continues
Every year since he was drafted in 2014 (except for 2018 , they dealt that pick in 2012 for Steve Nash) The team that suffered through a season of Julius Randle was rewarded with a top 2 pick . 2015 laker got the 2nd pick and drafted D'Angelo Russell 2016 Lakers got the 2nd Pick and drafted Brandon ingram 2017 Lakers got the 2nd pick and drafted Lonzo Ball 2019 New Orleans got the 1st pick and drafted Zion.
