Knicks need to live in the future not the past.
I like the coach from Dayton— their style of play is very exciting on both ends of court— big winning.

Pitino said he planned to run a modern style at Iona. What about him?

He’s mocked at 46 on draftnet and tankathon but guys on the reddit draft board love him. You see him going in the top 20?

Pitino just signed to coach at Iona! He's gonna quit before he coaches one game? I love Pitino, think he's one of the best coaches of all time and he's my personal fav, but he has too much baggage for the state our franchise is in right now.

I'd like to stay at the NBA level. Failure rate is just so high coming from the college ranks. It's Brad Stevens and that's about it.

If he has NBA experience than it's a solid option.

You can also see why Toppin is an obvious top 2 pick

Yes, Toppin is an interesting prospect. I'm not sure he's a star but he looks like a solid rotation player already (given a year of hard work on his defense).

What's wrong with Kenny Atkinson? Yes, Anthony Grant is a fine coach but he's just getting his college legs. Atkinson is a solid pro coach. (And I'm surprised that KD didn't push the Nets to keep him. Maybe he did?)

(Yo! Right. I haven' posted in years . . . but, whew, times change. Just checking in. Got some time on my hands :) I still recognize a lot of names here. I still follow the Knicks some but I haven't watched two games in a row in, well, years. Dolan? Well, he has my thoughts and prayers! )

I think the only super star in this draft is Wiseman. LaMelo ball if he can improve his jump shot and body is also a potential stat pg but I have him at 3 because of the stuff that comes along with him. If I were the Knicks however. I’d take him at 3( if that was our pick abd the other 2 were gone. I’m not scared to take LaMelo ball. I’d take Pritchard at 25 if he’s there no matter who I choose up top. I’d draft 2 pgs easily in right scenario plus we need another pg— I think we need 3 of them

As far as coach Atkinson has ties to Knicks but he over played the 3 ball in New Jersey — I like Anthony grant. I’m not sure you can do better in college than 28-2 at Dayton and their style of play was great both ends. New Jersey was to much 3 ball and porous d

Pretty much but I would include Donovan in the group that has been successful. I am glad he got a chance to coach without Russ on his team. I thought Beilein might be a good fit with the Cavs but that was a disaster.

KD was at the Nets game and the team meeting right before Kenny was fired. I don't know what role he had in the firing if any but he wasn't at a lot of the Net games. Their policy is to not have injured players travel with the team but he didn't attend some home games either.

Not sure it was a total mutiny as Atkinson seemed resigned to the fact that owner accelerated the time line by getting two stars set in their process and thats how it works. If he can’t get buy in then its time to go. Atkinson in part took control over his destiny and Should be respected for it.
