But I like the new generation and the advancement in technology.
Charismatic leaders are plenty but all of them are in business and technology.
And this is logical as the future is in the hands of technocrats as real wealth creators.
Scientists, engineers, professionals, and artists.
Spirituality is taking over from politically corrupt religions slowly but surely.
So I am optimistic despite all negativity in mass media and politics.
World is changing. America is changing. Because otherwise we as civilization cannot survive.

America was founded on the ideals rooted in accountability at the top. Hence ideals such as term limits and right to bare arms put in place. The ideals and principals behind the 2nd Amendment for example was so that government could be held accountable if they didn't serve the public. But at the same time this was during a time frame where the weapons used were muskets and such. Today the government has nuclear weapons and drones.

America stopped being a nation of accountability at the top a long long time ago. We follow traditions to follow them. But the true belief and purpose has long faded.

America was also founded on racism. And we have yet to truly acknowledge this aspect of Americas shame which has led to much divisiveness. A perfect symbol of this is the central part 5 story. The pressure to find the person responsible for the rape and assault of a woman in the park led to the charge of 5 minority children who were innocent of the charges. This established careers of the DA and Prosecutors of the case. They were able to identify poor kids and parents who weren't educated enough on the law and trusted the system. So in order for public ease and boost of careers for one side. Certain people who couldn't properly defend themselves at the time had to take the hit. Someone has to take the hit for someone elses benefit. And for a long long long time. As long as it was minorities and people of color then it was all good in America for those that benefited. Or minorities who fought in wars to help preserve the freedoms that we all benefit from today in America. Only to be treated as 2nd class citizens when it came down to sharing the perks of the freedom they gave their lives to help preserve. Only to be told to go back to their country. To have people today taught by their parents that POC have contributed nothing to society and are the most dependent.

The results are mass shootings and a divided country.
When the roots of the foundation is based on others taking the hit to get ahead. Then never actually acknowledge and educate these truths. But then attempt to put bandaids over the wounds. People start asking why the bandaids are being applied at all in the first place. Not only that, but feel them being ahead should be the standard due to no real education or acknowledgment of the people taking the hit.

This is the story of the whole humankind. America is just a regular case study.
Every nation has a perception that it is unique but reality is they all have the same flaws and sins.
Take the history of any country and you will see oppression, slavery, genocide, abuse, and rape.
It does not matter that in one case it will be 5 millions victims and in another 10 millions.
This is equally criminal and regretful.
People are descendant of senseless carnivores who are genetically evolved to kill other animals and each other to survive and win competition with other spices.

To lack of proper nutrition linking to poor mental health within children. How are we demonstrating love to family, friend, yada, yada, yada. By keeping a blind eye to this type of environment which will effect everyone one way or another.

Sitting back watching someone/something go down the wrong path also isn't love. Love is fighting to keep them/it on the right path. To get to the point of Love and Unity first understanding must be reached. Understanding must be reached from communication, honesty, and accountability. And we have been failing in all three areas.
