If he ends up a high usage player he better be able to shoot or give out 8 assists a game. Turner is a guy who can be a secondary or tertiary ball-handler, but doesn't have great burst. Turner, like Barrett, also has a junpshot that looks like it should go in more than it does. Turner was the #2 pick in what was considered a stronger draft in 2010. A Jalen Rose type career doesn't seem that bad. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

He just doesn't have that burst the superstars have. Isaiah used Ron Artest and Paul Piece as example during today's summer league telecast. It's not a perfect comparison, but I see what he is getting at. RJ is going to have to learn to set guys up and use his body more at the NBA level. Always... always remember: Less is less. the kid can flat out get to the hoop. He has shown a lot of strength despite being so young and will get stronger. His passing and rebounding is another great sign. I personally believe his shooting will get better.

I personally believe his shooting will get better. Im sure he will improve his shooting some too but its unverving to watch him not be able to blow by guys who will be playing in whatever league the Ball brothers played in. He just doesn't have that explosion you expect the 3rd pick in the draft to have. Doesn't it limit his ceiling some? He is going to really have to improve his passing to become a star. Since some were ready to call RJ a bust after 1 summer league game, can go to the other extreme and call him a future hall of famer after his near triple double in his final game?!

No. You're trash if you can't get a triple double in Summer League, close or not lol Glad he felt more comfortable at the tail end. It's just SL, but it's still good to see.
