Yeah, those Jalen Rose comparisons are starting to make sense to me now. A mid to high post game would help him to take better advantage of his strengths.
LOL...Just got on and was about to comment on the Rose and Barrett comparison.
Barrett is a smooth athlelte, you don't see any explosiveness at this time, and might never see it, but he has some length.
I was happy to see him have some success going to his right, last night.
The post game would help, and he could pass out of it. I think the move we've really going to see more of is the drive and pull back midrange jumper, a shot he has some rhythm with.
One fear- I don't see him as a catch and shoot guy (Am I wrong about this?). I think he needs to dribble the ball before he takes his shot, which limits his usefulness at times. If healthy, Bullock might be a good mentor for improving this skill, Ellington, too, but I wonder if Barrett needs to be a primary ball handler to reach his full potential as a shooter.
