I said a few days ago Janis reminds of Kit Culkin in the 90s. He would use his son Macaulay to flex his muscles in the movie industry and make demands. The funny thing is KP is not a top 5 player to be able to make so much demanda for their camp

We didnt create anything. Ive heard things about Janis from the get go. I just didnt think would be badly influenced by him

Wow

1. Carlisle looks so forced in his delivery, to the point of asking Porzingis what he calls one of his guys. He doesn’t look thrilled to have to deal with that at all.

2. THJr, CLee and Burke look devastated. You would think that escaping our tank and joining the Doncic fan club would make them happy. Wonder if it has to do with the Porzingis circus.

3. Knicks fandom aside, this looks weird. So many things seem to be happening backstage that it gives a bad feeling about the situation.

Yup. Eventually all the pro KP people will realize we dodged a bullet especially if we hit a homerun this offseason

"C'mon guys, this is going to be great!" Great for the Porzingis brothers, maybe. All the other former Knicks know is that their coach is praising the outsider who got them traded. Probably not where they were hoping, (putting aside the things that Dallas has to offer as a city) Or in THJ's case, not at all. Can understand why Timmy looks like lasers might shoot out of his eyes next.

The fact that they felt this public ass kissing was necessary, explains why the Pelicans werent interested. KP might have two hurdles to overcome, the layoff, and convincing teams that his brother wont make fans think of Lavar Ball, fondly.

Smart to kiss Janis ass to get KP to sign long term deal.
Maybe knicks earned some self respect by stopping the cow towing to these guys. Marbles, Mooby and KP. Enough.
That said, Dallas is doing what they need to do.
Old thought Carlisle is playing nice. Somewhere David Blatt is looking for his cowboy boots in storage. Carlisle will make a nice college coach as some Texas school.

I respect our FO for not bending over for Janis. Its a shame that a successful coach like Carlisle has to stoop to that low. For the Mavs sake they better hope KP fufills his potential and stays healthy which is not very likely

I Watched and KP's whole entourage was singled out - each by name. KP really has a lot of people kissing up to him. I'm glad NY said FU.

The people that they recognized was folks that the Knicks were keeping at arms length....when you give a young star that power watch out....I believe we learned from the Marbury fiasco...
