The Knicks’ new starting lineup of 6-foot-9 Vonleh and 7-foot-1 rookie center Mitchell Robinson up front with 6-foot-6 guards Hardaway, Ntilikina, and Damyean Dotson in the backcourt, is huge. They can take away airspace, contest shots, and plug up passing lanes with quickness and plus wingspans at every position. In that group’s 74 minutes, the Knicks have allowed just 99.4 points per 100 possessions and forced turnovers on 17.5 percent of opponents’ plays; those are the kind of elite defensive numbers rarely seen in the World’s Most Famous Arena this century. (Porzingis can’t do everything.)

Vonleh and Robinson have a variety of skills still being honed. Knicks are going to be built up in this image with any new additions going forward.

Adding KP to this 4 will add the missing offensive dimension and will open simple offensive game for all of them.
Adding KD will do same.
So I think we do have something in place which can be long term sustainable an serve in many possible versions of the future.
In today NBA to be a contender team must be a machine in which various peaces can be plug in to keep it rolling in various consequences.
Versatility and system became paramount.

they have been really good so far. Really look like guys worth investing in. Robinson's body reminds me of a more athletic Robert Parish. Voneleh really is n the cusp of breaking out. If his shot/handle/pick setting just gets a tiny bit better he's a long term keeper. I love what we are doing and building here

I've been impressed with them both. Vonleh's handle is very good. he needs to stay away from early and dumb fouls.

And lately Robinson has exhibited an iota of touch. He's been hitting FTs and short jumpers. I was worried he was going to be Drummond 2.0 in that regard. We need to be developing some PnR lob city with that guy. He gets way, way up there
