We turned Melo into Kanter, Mudiay and Robinson.

Even if Kanter and Mudiay don't play another minute, we won that trade just by getting rid of team cancer Melo!

Thunder realized how useless Melo is. His game has not aged well and he is the most selfish and overrated player

He has refused to change his game. That is the biggest culprit. He finally agreed to play PF, which should have been the case years ago, but he didn't want to become a role player surrounding 2 star players, he wanted to remain a player who gets star usage himself.

Wasserman gets clicks and we get excited.
Good thing most of us think Summerleague talent is on par NBA talent.
Otherwise we'd temper our enthusiasm and not circle jerk on these articles.
Most of us know it takes about 5 years to really make an accurate lookback.

I know this has been brought ad nauseum, but anyone remember who won won co-mvp with Dame Lilliard in 2012? How about 2013-2016? The list ranges from decent starters and bench players to straight up scrubs. Remember Derrick Roses summer league stats? Check out this list:

Trey Burke 2013 #9 24.1% 3.5 4.0 0.2 8.8

Funny that in the redraft the Knicks pick Trae Young at 9.

If we're going strictly off of summer league, than I have to take Colin over Trae. Colin just needs to slow down. Trae has more barriers to overcome in terms of athleticism, finishing around the rim, etc.

WE really writing articles about redrafting after summer league?
Knicks1248 really lamenting on Ewing after the way we treated him? He asked to be traded because his knees could not keep up with is ego.
Camby of course went on to have great seasons after we got rid of him and he played for like 20 more years after!
The trade of Oak as awful, Yet it was the catalyst for our 1999 run to the finals!

What should a guy that covers and writes about the draft he writing right now especially if he wants readers?
If you want 2019 draft coverage go the Stephen site.

Then the premise of the article isbbad to begin with. He's saying it doesn't matter, but goes on to give detailed analysis on why it does. It's like writing on article on why asses don't matter that includes on anlysis filled with chicks with nice asses. Jumping ability is overrated, but I'm going write an article defending why Jordan, LeBron, Dominique, Vince Carter, Dr. j and Clyde Drexler are the top wings in NBA history.
