if we got the third pick, I would be pretty pumped. We would almost assuredly hav a chance to draft Doncic or Porter... if not, Ayton wouldn't be a bad consolation prize

If we'd not won those 2 games, we would have been as high as 6th, with around a 20% chance of moving up to the top three. As it stands, at the 9th spot we just have a 6% chance of moving up. Obviously, we aren't going to move up, however what is everybody's top 3 players in this draft? Most mocks seem agreed that the top two are Ayton and Doncic (can't decide who I'd pick first out of those two for the Knicks), then there seems to be disagreement between Jackson, Bagely and a couple of others.

I think by certain measure we had the second worst record for the majority of the time from when KP went down.
It stings when you get to the end and "win".

Actually, you're = you are.....your is the correct word. To get even more technical, the sentence "I'll buy your ice cream" has a misplaced modifier but we wont go there.

Ayton is a franchise changing talent...He should go 1st. Bagely would be the 3rd pick IMO....

The CAVS did it three times in 4 years.

2014 Andrew Wiggins Cleveland Cavaliers Kansas
2013 Anthony Bennett Cleveland Cavaliers UNLV
2011 Kyrie Irving Cleveland Cavaliers Duke University

This team needs to win the lottery in the worst way. However it's a cruel a joke with the Knicks, I am sure 1-2 win at the end will be the difference between a franchise talent. Let's hope and pray because the lottery structure changes next season.

But I thought the Bennet year they sucked. The other years the Cavs were like 8th or 9th (or something like that) and jumped to the 1st pick via lottery

Just found out that I was clueless about how the lottery works...and that we can move up to 1-3, but not 4-8...and we can move back to 10-12.

Makes me less hopeful...

I'll be happy if we can stay at 9.
