If the Fiz wants this guy, then get him.
As for all the justifications and what kind of player he was or was not, that's irrelevant unless the guy can coach.
Great players are not often great coaches. If the Fiz thinks this man can coach, that's all I need to know!

Just glad we have a front office that allows a head coach to hire the guys he is going to be working with.

This....Not only is the front office getting out of the way and allowing the coach to coach, but perhaps Dolan is getting out of the way and allowing the front office to perform their jobs...Can we say, the organization is turning over a new leaf?
