I think our coach thinks we are still "in it" - he is going around appealing to people's pride, instead of focusing on playing people like Dotson. At this point one of Timmy and Lee should be rested each game.

New York era has been great for youth, talents
And prominence in sports and our ownership and
$$ management is doing their own thing.

Not yet impressed by Perry,Mills, or Knicks
Front office for lack of developing young
Guys and seeking talent in areas where other
Teams fill some needs fine.

I disagree on some points. I do think we are very committed to yoots. We are talking about Clee and Lance at this point getting minutes. Some fans are not happy that Frank was getting minutes as he was. We have bought up Burke, kept Dotson who has not really shown a whole lot (was a 4 year player). In his place is Troy Williams. Baker was a nice addition last year. This year was a disaster but it was a disaster in the realm of YOUTH! Certainly his ankle injury in training camp took him out of the season and he has had nothing but setbacks. Defensive kid who runs the offense was looking good there for a while. Not sure if he put on too much muscle and lost some quickness? Bad luck? or he just plain is not up to the NBA level?
Timmy has elevated his game and he can play to his contract. There is more to say about this but im being general.
As for the culture, we are in the infancy of the post Phil Era and I suppose it takes time to undo the two decades of harm done.
Im not impressed either but im pleased we moved on from Melo and are rebooting.
Seems like we were able to suck for years and yet had few picks and were strapped via the cap as ambitious plans failed.
THis is very different than any other attempt.

Then why trade Dotson Or have talks?
what will he bring back? nothing like in the Willy Gomez deal.

My point was instead of these
"Re-threads" Courtney Lees, J.Jacks, ect
get Dotson on the floor, he barely been here < few months. I am not saying the kid can be a star
especially drafted at lower end of draft.

I think you're correct we see some players /youth playing on Knicks.

But I believe if you got 1st year guys like G Frank N. and Dotson, may as well explore their youth and see how they handle
pressure.

But don't we want to see what these guys can do with pro experience
for Our Knick team tanking faster than the Titantic (sorry poor example forgive me)

Before we deal Dotson for another re-thread, how about playing him/bring him into Knicks
losing season. It may be good experience plus we're not playing for even locking up draft position. We're set.
