If a line up with Beasley, Mudiay and THJr uses like 6% of their brain....does the other team get to use 17% of their brain

Depends on how much Payton makes on his next deal. Don't want to invest that much money into him. But he's definitely better than Mudiay at this point in his career.

The former GM of the Orlando Magic was Rob Hennigan. The assistant GM was Scott Perry.
If You don't know who was responsible for the pick then your making shyt up.
Do you know how the orlando magic front office ran their drafts?

Mudiay is a better option for the simple fact that he is a year away from RFA, whereas Payton could get paid from someone this summer. They don't have any contract decisions to make with him right away as they would with Payton.

If you go to the Denver message board they're not upset about seeing him moved.

SMH>>>

Perry, working as Rob Hennigan’s right-hand man in Orlando, made a draft-night trade with the 76ers to nab Payton with the 10th pick in 2014.

This has been well documented where the hell you been under a rock..

Sure because they took him with the 7th pick in the draft three years ago and he has not lived up to that. But getting him for a guy that was gone in the summer is a totally different scenario. And like what is said about other point guards not living up to their draft spot, he is only 21.

I don't doubt it. Expectations were high and they have a bad taste about him being a lottery pick. We don't have that issue. He's a project and we should keep expectations low.

problem with Payton is the commitment. There is zero point in bringing him in unless you are going to resign him. He's good, but Im not sure they wanted to pay him big money at this point. Mudiay is a safer route when it comes to flexibility for sure.

And Philly tricked them into thinking they were going to take him, and they overpaid to get him, if I remember correctly.

If true, it says a lot about Orlando. They wanted Ntilikina, but had to settle for a 2nd round pick at the buzzer. That's a low sell.

I'm not sure how many people have real high expectations. He's not our former lottery pick. He's 21 years old, so if he's not good now, that's fine. Can he develop into a solid rotation player? Sure, why not?

You're right...did not think of it that way...If they got a #2 from the Suns and it is their pick it will be a good one. Would Perry have given up our Chicago #2 if they had asked us for it?
