If Jeff initiated the physical altercation, why didn't he get suspended/ told to stay away from the team?

Maybe Noah said something that crossed the line. Shoving is one thing in sports, taking a swing is something else.

Its a sad circumstance. Noah wants to play. He did not earn his spot on the team. Nobody go injured to give him time. It happens all the time on basketball ball teams.
What does not happen is a guy making guaranteed 18mil.
He is owned 56mil. In his mind, its his money. He wants to leave and play where he is wanted.
Knicks have no incentive, and Jo wants his contract. It’s a standoff. Maybe both parties are trying to agitate the other into intolerable end? Noah becomes a distraction and knicks send him packing with his money, or Knicks make it for him that accepts a discount.
Who do fans side with? White bread Hornacek? Black an Noah? Race have any sides here? Did Noah deceive knicks into thinking he was healthy? That why he was out of shape, to pass a physical? Then the PED’s? Deception? NO legal recourse but not honest? Is Noah a victim or knicks?
We don’t know the real story here.

Story is changing and it was a mutual altercation at the very worst.

It wouldn't completely surprise me if the Knicks fire Hornacek at the end of the season then try to bring Noah back in next year, given he is still untradeable and the Knicks will have a void at center most likely.

Then they both should have been suspended. They both don’t bring anything to the team as of now.

How does suspending both help any more than the current situation? Or help at all?

It’s not about help the situation. It’s about discipline for both the coach and Player. Besides you have two lame ducks. JH is going to get canned and Noah basically took the brunt of the scuffle between the two when both were in the wrong. If anything I’m gonna side with Noah on this because he adamantly wants to live up to the contract that he received. JH is basically preventing him from doing so. This team isn’t going anywhere don’t see the reason not to play Noah. All that could happen is he starts to rack up double doubles and ups his trade value a contract that the team seem to desperately move from. The logic just isn’t there.

Kanter/OQuin already have realized their value in any possible moves whether it’s free agency or trade. Why not play Noah and let others see if he can create demand. It’s ridiculous not to do it.

show's accountability, something this franchise shy's away from....

Noah's reputation has always been a team first guy until he joined the knicks, jeff has a history of clashes with his own players and he's only been a head coach for a few yrs, like what's up with that dude?

How do you apply discipline and take a side when you dont know the cause of the altercation?
Need there always be a bad guy to lay blame when a team is doing badly? team was 3 games over .500 then it road games, exhaustion, rookie wall, vets tired and injuries happen and then we have to change coaches to satisfy a fan frustration?
I get why Noah is upset, and why his contract is such a big deal. Was he looking to create prboblems and get bought out? Why play him when to not really a rookie getting his minutes or Willy? Good questions, maybe we are not letting Kanter and KOQ go so fast.

You mean the one in PHx. How about as assistant? what other “history” can you elaborate as if its a chronic character. Sloan had “History” too. Pop, Larry, Phil, Red Auerbach, etc etc.....
And......you do know even great coaches have clashes. I get that you want Jeff gone. And teh next guy, and the next guy, etc. Life is like Wresting on tv. Always a good guy, always a bad guy.

BTW, Noah is untradable and will be for a while. personally I want to play him and see what he’s got, but that dont mean I know what’s going on with him and the knicks, or with the knicks and him. Knicks might feel like they were bamboozled by him when they signed him. Took him at his word he was good when he might have just done a lot to pass his physical. The PED’s is a serious matter. Not many suspensions are there? Was he using long term or just got breached and got caught?

Nalod don’t need common good vs evil plot to follow a story. There are things we dont know.
