Looking at teams like Portland (Lillard and McCollum), Houston (Paul and Harden), Cleveland (LeBron and Hill) and GS (Curry, Green, and Durant) all the great teams have multiple ball handlers/shot creators. If Frank puts on 10-15 pounds this offseason, he will be able to effectively guard bigger wings, and be used as a secondary ball handler. Sexton at the PG with Hardaway and Ntilikina at the wings can really offer a more modern look with 2-way guards who can share PG duties. Eventually we will probably add a bigger wing (i.e Middleton, H Barnes, T Harris, etc) and move Hardaway to 6th man. I was hoping Mudiay could provide some offense, but he is so inefficient it's disappointing. Priorities should be adding playmaking, shooting, and defense.

Im going to beg that we somehow get a top 3 pick.

To be honest, i don't see a huge variance in the top 10 or so. I mean there are obviously some better than others. Ayton and Doncic can both be franchise players, but there is no sure-fire franchise player here. There will be many all-stars, and definitely a couple drafted outside the top 5. This is a tricky draft. A couple guys drafted in the 6-10 range will be better than the guys in the top 5, in my opinion. We are going to get a good player regardless.

Id go

#1 Aayton
#2 Bagley
#3 Porter
#4 Doncic
#5 Young

And a lot of people have Bagley, Young, and Porter outside of the top 5. You look around the mock drafts and it's so scattered among the top 10.

Right now i have

1. Ayton
2. Doncic
3. Bagley
4. Young
5. Porter
6. Mikal Bridges
7. Sexton
8. Carter
9. Bamba
10. Jackson Jr.

A lot of people have Jackson in the top 3, but i don't really see it. I think he will be good, sort of like Myles Turner, but not a star.

That's a role we might need to fill depending on how our center position shakes out. Has anyone watched Jontay Porter play? I haven't , but his skills look good. Is it a matter of his conditioning not being up to par, or is his athletic ceiling too low. Possible target with the bulls pick.

Now that's Knicks1248 type thinking. I think he would endorse that move.

The honest answer is we do NOT have certain things in place.

Please God let us move up a few spots and swipe Trae Young--that is where the nBA is.

At Frank's age -- Mykal Bridges was being red-shirted (couldn't make the squad) at Villanova.

Frank at same age is head shoulders superior to then 19 year old Bridges.

Food for thought on both negative comments directed at Frank and positive comments bestowed towards Bridges.

Timing/age/experience really does matter in player evaluations -- its why 90% of NBA player evaluation is on projecting upside.

OH and Trae Young sucks balls -- give me Sexton over Young every day and I don't even love Sexton.

You're right. Frank would be a college freshman right now in the US. Imagine what he would do at the college level. But projections are key. With Bridges, his 3&D skillset provides a floor of being a pretty good rotation player. Just like with Frank, he is a defensive specialist at the very least. Having fallback specialty skills provides a high floor for Bridges, and i think he still has some untapped potential given his athleticism and length. Young and Sexton are both risks, but still good prospects. With Young, he will have to prove he can physically compete at the NBA level. With Sexton, he needs to learn how to shoot.

Doncic brings that element that Knicks have lacked for a long time a swagger in the mold of the greats. A player that is not afraid to make mistakes and ready to be great. This guy is going to be a game changer.

Anybody catching this kid Mobley from St Bonaventure, unconscious from three all from NBA range. Just blew the game wide open for St Bony in a matter of minutes, 6 for 6

Agreed. To me there are 9 clear cut players at the top. Aayton, doncic, Bagley, porter, young, Jackson, bamba, mikal bridges, sexton. Getting one of these 9 has become essential. I still think Wendell Carter can move up but I have concern with his ability to defend on the perimeter in the NBA.

If we waste our pick on Sexton I’ll McLose it. Watch him on the defensive end, Bama does their best to hide him. Worst fake defense I’ve ever seen. Do we really need another combo guard who can’t shoot or defend

Bridges and Brunson both could be Knicks. They both looked great today.

Yeah - I could be completely off on this one but I want NO PART of Trae Young.

Also folks really need to pay attention to age difference between Mikal Bridges and other players (ex Knox nearly 3 years younger at 18.5. Is it unr3asonable to think Knox in 3 years at 21.5 will be a better player than Bridges is today (answer is no).

Love Mikal game but at 21.5 his body is not impressive....Frank will look like Mr Olympia compared to Bridges when Frank is 21.5 in 2 1/2 years from today.

I think Bridges is a late bloomer. There is still plenty of time for him to grow as a player. Knox offers more upside simply because of his age, but the things that Bridges brings will allow him to become a good NBA player right away. His insane consistency from the outside and his defensive talent is something that Knox would have a long way to go to develop. Knox has plenty of upside, but also plenty of unknowns. Bridges could be similar to Donavan Mitchell as a player who is sort of hiding in plain sight because he is an older prospect in a draft full of good freshman. By comparison, Mitchell and Bridges are the exact same age, and there are no concerns about Mitchell's ability to continue to improve off of his awesome rookie season. Bridges will come into the league with 2 above average NBA skills, and can build from there.

Bet the farm on trae young- no brained. He’s a combination of parke curry and Nash. He’s not going to be triple teamed and taking 42 footers on the nba
