I’ve been noticing an increase in praise of KP and his game as well as his potential. This year has made it much clearer what kind of player he is. There were a lot of doubts that he could be a Franchise Player but those are fading.

I really have been paying attention to the Opposing Broadcast teams and there is a unanimous praise of KP as a foundation player. It's clear that moving Melo was the right move at this time mainly because it allowed KP to be the focal point and that has sped up his growth.

KP still has a lot to learn. He has to learn how to deal with Double Teams. He's not really letting the offense flow THROUGH him in the way you'd like but he's still got time to learn how to do what a Duncan or Hakeem was able to do.

I'll be 10th row in Charlotte on Monday to see it upclose. I wonder if they repeat where they have Dwight push him around and KP selling the foul with some floppage.
Dwight then just grins. Its just business. KP has to use his finess and he has been doing a great job.

Bull sht..Getting rid of the triangle and allowing Jh to coach his system is making all the difference in the world. Melo was always willing to let KP do his thing. 12 months to date we were 14-11, then phil started the melo crap, and the triangle practices, and told JH to strictly run the triangle (after the xmas loss) and the bottom fell out.

Drose abandon ship, Jennings not giving sht about running any damn triangle, Noah cringing in pain after every rebound, KOQ was super inconsistent, Lance hurt.. we are doing the same as least season with less talent. If melo was on this roster and JH running his own stuff, we would be over 500, although we would still need KaNTER..lol

He is talking about the extra touches(20 shots per game & 33.9 usage) he now receives as the number one option instead of #2. As well as the fact that teams now game plan specifically to guard KP as the go to guy.

It's always the triangle fault until a team loses a game or 2. Never seem to hear about triangle during loses like vs the Bulls the other night.

I think you missed the point. This isn’t about the offense being run but KP’s Role as the focal point. Melo wasn’t going to take a back seat to KP and Melo was kind of a crutch for the younger players in general. Hard for them to take on a larger role with Melo on the floor. Melo is a star and if he calls for the ball they’re gonna keep giving it to him.

Also you’re wrong about the Triangle last year. For one thing Phil didn’t call for the emphasis on Triangle until the end of February when the team was 24-36!!!

Your memory is biased by Phil hate and Melo Love.

So what your trying to say is that wins and losses can be determined by the level of effort a team puts out. That regardless of system if the teams effort is poor they still have high odds of losing that game. Hmmm interesting concept.

Blaming a system rarely used last year is crazy. Triangle is a very good system if player fall in line. It works and will always work. You know how I know it works the Knicks used it just the last game. But hey hate on what you want to.

What was really interesting to see the rigid Knicks haters Billups and Jalen Rose also praise the Knicks team and Porzingis. Now that was really interesting to see as much barbs as they have thrown at this organization.
