They have a team full of new players... it's ok to simply give a team credit. Its not ok to be all up in their ass crack just because they are better

I agree. This is clear situation where the Knicks have to overachieve to beat a team like the Raps. This is good for this young Knicks team to go up against and try to match the level of a better team. The Knicks haven't backed down which is good.

What really got me PO'd was that we had Chris Wilcox at the same time, who had the same skill set as Hill.

Its my tin foil theory that Walsh and the organization was so wrapped up in signing LeBron, that they didn't put in any time or effort into making the best pick.

I warned yall about Hill before the pick. Played pickup with him in AZ, and it was too easy to push him around......And I'm only 6ft with shoes. But I didn't realize we passed on Derozan with the next pick???? Similar to DSJ.....Lets hope history doesn't repeat itself.

TBF, Derozan was considered raw out of college, and shooting was a big question mark while being known as a tremendous athlete. Like nixluva mentioned, the Raptors have allowed their key players to grow together. He wasn't someone who was seen as so great when younger, but has developed well into a real star as he has entered his prime along with Lowry who was the more key player the last few seasons.

Possible that we saw THJ after we traded him and wondered the same thing about him...we gave up too easily. He's been looking better and improving, which I like, even if still needs quite a bit more.

I still am liking what we are trying to put together this season so far while a lot more work and talent will need to be added.

DeRozan wasn't a MDA type of player. Wanted 3&D wings & forwards. Defensive finishers as bigs. And playmaker at PG. Hill fit that mold, Steph fit that mold. DeRozan didn't fit that mold.

So we can't give them credit for building a good team over the years?

Derozan was always the better choice. Wasn't disagreeing with you. Just naming the probable logic.

Seriously into this game, it's exciting to see the team enthusiastic about defending home court! And F the Raps.
