not bad at all though he isnt playing with Giannes....
Regardless, they can become great assets, rotational players, or become the next Whiteside, or Robert Covington who made the VET MIN for 4 years with unguaranteed contract and will likely only get one shot at a decent contract In regards to Ron Baker, i think the best comparison would be DELLY's situation, signing for the vet minimum and then i think 3million the 2nd year, then 10m per year for 4years Whether BRIGGS Favorites of Jordan Mickey/Christian Wood, I also like Thomas Robinson myself *especially to fill in for Noah's recovery/suspension
Isiah Cannon?

with the "nearing deal" it could be also Beasley guaging if there is other intrest from other teams to drive his price up, as NYK has been known for the past decades
I think Courtney Lee is a solid player that is better playing undersized at the SF position with an uptempo ball/player movement system that would really help our young team and coach develop chemistry and executing a philosophy on both OFF and DEF does Lance Thomas offer a possible 1 or 2nders if he plays well? what is his vallue now? |

BRIGGS wrote:Awesome move --I wrote about this last year. His defense was so much better last year and he was playing awesome before he got hurt. New SF I looked at a couple of his big games last year against Spurs/Pistons and obviously he looks really good in those -- very Melo like game but puts ball on the floor and can finish with his right hand nicely. BUT --- looking at his game logs and those are extremely sporadic - up/down. Also --- what happened to him in 14/15 and 15/16 -- looks like he only played around 45 games total combined for those 2 seasons -- and only 55 or so last year. |

Also - not sure if mentioned otherwise but didn't Craig Robinson just come over from the Bucks as their player development guy --- maybe Beasley was his suggestion?

Its a good signing depending on which Beasley we get. Doesn't have to turn back the clock, Beasley does have to bring energy every time he steps on the floor. Maybe Noah and Beasley can give the team some quality minutes this upcoming season. That would make us a playoff team.

Doesn't lance suffer from planter fasciitis, the same foot thing that Camby suffered with until he left the Knicks, so I don't expect him to play more the 50 games and that might be generous
