Recall that we were looking at him somewhere...any thoughts?

Saw that he played at Portsmouth.

Seems like a classic sniper.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

He left Orgeon after a forcible rape allegation but they did not prosecute him.

Looks like he has a better shot release and form than Gallo.
Looks more like Allen Crabbe than Gallo to me.
Gallo was an undersized 2 with some point skills.
This kid is a legit sized with classic 2 skills.

Don't really see the comparison.

that's not true at all. Dotson doesn't really play defense. He doesn't pass either but oh well.

He has the kind of game that should fit well with the style in NY.

He is closer to a 58 type pick than the 44th but he can shoot.

Turned 23 last month...

Seems Draftnet was looking at his lack of passing, though it seems to be something that improved in some competitions he's been in following his college season.

Saw a few vids, he looks more like a natural classic 2 than a combo guard or anything like that.
Gallo has more PG skills.
This guy looks like he has better shooting form and shooting ability.

Looks like a bench sniper. Maybe a 3nD guy if he works on his D because scouts say he has all tools for defend.

I trust the Knicks scouting enough to know that they tested the kid for MORE than just his ability to shoot. DO you really think they didn't check to see what else he could do?

He was projected to go in the 40s so not a reach.
Lets see if his shooting translates to the NBA.
Looks NBA ready.

Right now at guard

Lee/Dotson
Ntilikina/Baker/Randle

Relax, my comment was mostly about the video.

I watched him at the combine and thought he was one of the best players there.

You beat me to it. I clearly remember him from watching the combine. He's a good player
