If Phil is getting blasted for moving players. Pat Riley and the OKC guys should roasted. Pat Riley lost LeBron, Wade, OKC Harden, Durant and Ibaka. Knicks fans crying about Felton, Smith, Shumpert Hardaway, Rolo.

You guys just to funny.

further proof that if you won't playing like he wants you to, regardless of your talent and skills, you better of playing SOME WHERE ELES.

So if KD, or Curry, or Labron, came in and rebel against the TRIANGLE, he wouldn't think twice of trading them away. He would rather have a guy like baker and Randle, who embrace the triangle (for contract purposes) than a much more talented player who is not for the shanannings triangle.

Melo is about to be 33 years old dude stop crying. If he was 27-28 it would be different... the Knicks are in a different path. Get over it already.

Melo is not in the playoffs, unfortunately for him, he's still on a knicks team run by a dick, but im so sure if he's traded, he will be in the finals next yr..

Sorry too say but alot of knick fans are dicks. Melo is a huge part as to why we are a lottery team this year. He's not a leader and he could never be the man on a playoff tean without alpha males surrounding him. If and when he gets traded he's going to go to teams that are already playoff veteran teams. He's going to make them better because he doesn't have to do anything but score. A healthy Celtic or clipper team with Melo goes to the conference finals next year... a healthy bulls team with Melo might go to the finals. If he stays on the Knicks with us rebuilding he's leading us to the lottery again.

Melo isn't a game changer like that. he can't keep a team from being in the lottery but can propel first round flameout to conference finals and finals? Lulz.

Where's Tyson? Quincy? Bargs? Dalembert? Galloway? Ledo? Amare? Prigioni? Shved? Melo?

So you started a thread to show how half the guys Phil traded away are now in the playoffs.. in a league where half the teams go to the playoffs. Genius! You could be POTUS!

I agree with you that this is a non issue but why list a bunch of players cut or not resigned. Only Tyson and Prigs were traded I believe and Prigs was in the playoffs for Houston and LAC before he retired.

Because why only mention the guys on playoff teams... what about the guys not in the playoffs and not in the league anymore? Sunshine should start a thread about that just to make sure we cover the whole stupid spectrum

Now your being petty, you throw up guys that were not resign, or in the league (except Tyson, who went to the playoffs when he went back to Dallas) I never said anything about them.

Those GUY who were traded, rebelled against the triangle and you know it, so cut the non sense.

Why you think he wants melo gone, certainly not because he cheated on his wife

MY god, maybe the first post I agree with you on, But with that said, why didn't phil put together that kind or roster, instead of below avg players hoping melo would make them better, like that's been his reputation.

It's like MDA trading for a 34 yr old shaq, Like where would he fit in that offense

Steve Kerr traded for Shaq he was the gm.... then he goes to golden State and bites his whole offense.

Anyway... what did you want Phil to do. Nobody wants to sign here. Nobody watts to trade with us.... he took a gamble. He underestimated how good Melo was as far as being a leader. Ok... so what? With what resources would he acquire these players? In am still waiting for someone to answer what players Phil should have signed with our cap space.

And it was Steve Kerr that traded for Shaw. Kerr didn't feel MDAs style was championship basketball. Which is y MDA quit or was fired?

let the HEAD coach run the system he see's fit, weather that was fisher or JH, not fck'd up Rambis. I thought phil did a solid job on both of his last rosters (except for noah) he just can't live without the triangle, which will evidently be his down fall

Agree with most here. Who cares that young players were let go and are producing elsewhere? What does that have to do with Phil? Phil was not brought here to evaluate talent. That's what Gaines is for. He was brought here to be Dolan's shield, blind the poor sucker that is a Knick fan and bring over ailing old guys that he feels can resurrect his precious. Just let Melo go and all problems will disappear. 60 wins will be within our grasp. And if we suck, that's okay, Nix will have a positive twist for the next 5 years.

further proof that if you won't playing like he wants you to, regardless of your talent and skills, you better of playing SOME WHERE ELES.

Ok... so what? Rose will be of the books, we got a lotto pick and Melo is about to get traded. What do you want? A hot tub time machine? Can't change the past... but the future is bright. Step into the light you freak

let the HEAD coach run the system he see's fit, weather that was fisher or JH, not fck'd up Rambis. I thought phil did a solid job on both of his last rosters (except for noah) he just can't live without the triangle, which will evidently be his down fall

Fisher was a piece of **** human being. Not worth bringing up his name. He wasn't even holding practices. Rambis is there to help bridge the coach and Phil. No hiding that.... but that's a good thing. We would have a better understanding as to who needs to go and stay. Hornacek agreed to run the triangle so stop saying Phil is stopping Horny from running his offense. He agreed to run the triangle. The offense isn't the problem. Its leadership and togetherness... Not a coaching problem. Whenever Melo was hurt the guys ran the offense beautifully. That's a credit to Hornacek... He needs more guys to buy in. More talent and hard workers to keep what positives we have become stronger.

More things to be happy about than be crabby.

HofstraBBall wrote:Agree with most here.

If phil woke up tomorrow and said he will keep melo, NIX will have a positive spin on it

Thing is nobody is saying were going to win 60 games just because Melo is traded. I think we are a lotto team if he stays or goes.

And why not put a positive spin on it? You guys always want to put a negative spin. So its socially acceptable to ram Negans Lucille bat up our asses every day and make more stupid jokes about how stupid you think Dolan and Phil are? Sad souls man.

I was the first one on this board screaming to fire FISH with his 15 man rotations, then it comes to light that it was RAMBIS's rotation, yet I was killed.. JH agreed to run some up tempo version of the triangle, like phil said in his press conference, and since he was only producing .500 ball, he decided to go full triangle and let RAMBIS take over, and we go 20 games under 500 the rest of the way.

Phil doesn't have a single asset to trade for draft picks or young up in comings since he sank his only asset(melo) like a bad stock.
