We also had Weis back in the days. So easy to see why the brass did not want to risk taking another French center over NBA pedigree.

That's the story with us: we react impulsively based on past mistakes and, in doing so, we make new mistakes. The Bargnani trade was out of that category too.

Huh? The Knicks had JR and Shump. Two guard was the deepest position. In regards to hindsight, I wanted Gobert in that draft and posted about it here. I am sure if you don't remember you could find the threads.

I think Balmer is going to demand that they trade for Melo! Dude was so into the series with the Jazz and he looked like a mix of despair and rage when the Clips lost. He was not happy! You buy a team and it's at playoff level you're not looking to rebuild IMO!

For cap and trade junkies, could the Clippers sign players in off season then trade them to us for Melo? If so what is the likelihood of that happening.

If they sign new guys over the summer they can't trade them til December 15th, I believe.

Weird seeing the Rockets setting screens for teammates, and the Spurs just doing ISO. Rockets playing better D. Also surprised Pops waited until there was a 20 pt plus lead to call a time out. Its like Freaky Friday, lol.
