Its in CANADA!, another country!

We also never ratified our participation of TPP. He'll get a concession and look like a hero.
or, as much as one can.

CBS News confirmed reports that President Donald Trump brought a studio audience to his visit with the CIA on Saturday. The news agency reports that an official said the visit left a wake of “unease,” “made relations with the intelligence community worse,” and was “uncomfortable.”

Intelligence people were “stunned” and “offended by the president’s tone,” CBS reports. “U.S. government sources tell CBS News that there is a sense of unease in the intelligence community after President Trump’s visit to CIA headquarters on Saturday.”

Also, Trump did bring cheering props, which fits with how he has operated previously in requiring a cheering section – a sort of laugh track of supportive extras like those his campaign hired for his announcement event. It has been confirmed by Trump insiders that the President loves props.

“Authorities are also pushing back against the perception that the CIA workforce was cheering for the president. They say the first three rows in front of the president were largely made up of supporters of Mr. Trump’s campaign,” CBS continued.

The crowd was filled out with about 40 Trump invites and also, the front rows were senior CIA who were not cheering (on the video you can see their heads pivot to the cheers and laughter while not joining in), “An official with knowledge of the make-up of the crowd says that there were about 40 people who’d been invited by the Trump, Mike Pence and Rep. Mike Pompeo teams. The Trump team expected Rep. Pompeo, R-Kansas, to be sworn in during the event as the next CIA director, but the vote to confirm him was delayed on Friday by Senate Democrats. Also sitting in the first several rows in front of the president was the CIA’s senior leadership, which was not cheering the remarks.”

Then they say look how much CIA people are happy to have him there...Amazing..

Damn! This guy is gonna get away with this crap. I just heard that the case filed against Trump for violating the Constitution's Emoluments Clause could take years to work its way up to the Supreme Court! So in essence he could be in violation almost his entire presidency and get away with it. Only the Republicans can hold Trump accountable and I don't see that happening. This is a sad state of affairs.

this country was built on racism and is still very racist. maybe folks that voted for him just don't know what racism is or how it's still around today. trump's foray into politics was also built on a purely racist base (birtherism) then he doubled down on it during his 2016 campaign. i'm not mad at it anymore - he's telling people what they want to hear. he connected with many on that topic even though some of them are probably not even fully aware of it.

nix - don't be shocked anymore. he's acting like a dictator/fascist and he will continue to do so. we'll see what happens over the next few months/years. he's already in the process of taking away woman's rights. next will be non-whites. can't wait for the day he asks "americans" to call police on neighbors they consider "suspicious."

The only hope we have is to appeal to Trump's vanity! He wants to be loved so bad that he's gonna try to do things that are popular with the average joe or for whoever is in his face the most. What bothers me about that is the real power is in Congress!!! The Republicans couldn't give 2 flips about the common man, women or minorities. Trump only has a little bit of power over them for a very short time and then the power shifts totally to Congress.

Trump's promises don't match with Paul Ryan and the Republican Party. This could get real messy as Trump and the Republicans battle for control. He wants to spend MASSIVE amounts of money to make the people love him and the Congress wants to cut spending and privatize everything.

So many Fertilized Eggs end as Eptopic pregnancies outside of the Uterus and other scenarios where the health of the mother is at risk. Why can't they just worry about their own family and stop trying to dictate everyone's lives. These people are always talking about less government unless it's for some Conservative Religious restriction, then they want government all up in your bedroom.

I think the Chinese will honor Trump by declaring the year of the orangutan, that may keep him from declaring them a currency manipulator. Move over rooster!

Republicans always over play their hand..They are miscalculating where women are today versus where they were 40 years ago..If Saturday wasn't a wake up call I don't know what will be..

more stats when it comes to republicans and women...

there are currently 21 female senators out of 100. of the 21, 16 are democrats and 5 are republican.
32% of democrat senators are women while only 10% of republican senators are women.

there are currently 84 women in the house of representatives out of 435 (192 dems, 248 rep, 1 vacant).
of the 435, 62 are democrats and 22 are republican.
32% of democrat reps are women while only 9% of republican reps are women.

why don't republicans vote for women?

woman's healthcare about pregnancies, abortions and discussing it as an option

all international organizations that offer those will have federal funds cut - aka the global gag rule.

http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2017/01/trump-global-gag-rule

it also expands to hiv aids programs and maternal health programs. this goes far behind what bush did 12 years ago.

these people are f ckwads.

-NYTimes...Congressional Budget Office says debt is projected to rise by 8.6 trillion over 10 years if Trump's plans are enacted...Already 20 trillion..

Bush met a surplus, but when they are in power..

- “Deficits don’t matter,” said Dick Cheney. “Debt doesn’t matter either,” says Paul Krugman.
