In a nut shell keep the young guys, on the fence with JR and dump Bargs and Felton for a fart in the wind. Golden Mooby idol retains a high % of cult worship

The obvious votes is typical. Sell low and buy high is the hindsight of the fan.

Felton to the second unit, rehab Bargs into the system, and Zen mind control for JR.

The talent is there.

I think this year was classic Knicks.. plenty of talent, no direction or team concept and its impossible to win in the NBA like that. Impossible.

And Shump's stock is even higher than Mooby's!

Felton's stock is lower than Dolan's! Unreal. The original lead chip in the Melo-forced-his-way-here-gutting-the-team debacle.

So we have a team that was expected to and then actually played at a .450 level. And the fans want like 90% of the players back?!
I put keep him for 3 of the 15.

expected by who? That was a 54 win team. The expectation was they would be in the playoffs again and win the Atlantic. Three straight years in the playoffs and you (and others) act like this is a perrenial lottery team and people shouldnt be suprised. Melo's first losing season in a decade in the NBA and first time he's missed the playoffs. For you stat heads thats called a "one off"

I think Shump breaks out nexst year. If for no other reason than to screw us in FA when he's on the market along with all the other stars that are coming to NYC lol

Hmmmm...fans want Fatton and Bargs gone. I get that. I don't understand the hatred for KMart. I also don't understand why its 50/50 for JR. JR should be gone.

Trashed everybody except 6 guys (Melo, THJ, JR, Felton, Cole, and Tyler). The first 3 I think we can build around and if he can keep his head on straight JR's contract is a bargain by league standards. Felton is not moveable without taking back a worse contract so I said keep him under the assumption that he would be in a bench role. Cole and Tyler I like as bench players at the right price.

My guess is it's not hatred. They just feel he's not worth a roster spot anymore.

I like how your "three straight years in the playoffs" conveniently ignores the first two years we barely made it in as an 8 and 7 seed with records barely over .500

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

I didn't bookmark it either but I posted a table a while ago of all the 2012-13 and 2013-14 predictions. Now (for some reason) I'm finding it easier to find the 2012-13 than 2013-14 ones in Google searching. I'll look more later but none of them were off by as much as the fans here were for this year.

Win shares had 43 wins - off by 6 isn't that bad, and Schoene had 37 (although it has a mixed reputation).

I'm still trying to find the table I posted a while ago since it had all the major metrics

Yeah, and he also conveniently ignored the "team" we fielded that first year. I mean, who couldn't do better than .600 with the likes of Fishlips!

Yeah, and he also conveniently ignored the third year we barely won in the first round by 4 straight and we got swept in 6 games in the second round!
