It's looking like we couldn't avoid an easy matchup (on paper) when in regards to these Clippers. Which is how I like it as a fan and/or enjoy these games that much more. By (potentially) beating a healthy Clippers team we could then gain strong momentum and/or a strong sense of self confidence heading into our all-stark weekend. Now that I know for a fact that LAC's healthy, I'm actually anxious/amped to see how our Knicks respond to a primetime home game against the Clippers inside of Madison Square Garden now that both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin have returned (played last night against Miami), and both will play against our Knicks.

Speaking of responding as a team, heading into our matchup against the Timberwolves I stated that after our loss against Washington, this game (at the time) against the Timberwolves is (and was) a very important game moving forward. A chance to bounce back, rebound and respond while (hopefully) creating another winning streak heading into all-star weekend. We responded last night with an away victory, and come postseason seeding, W's and L's are all that matter heading into playoff contention.

In regards to the actual game, as a Knicks fan, I'm not putting any stock (whatsoever) in LAC going 3-7 during their last 10 games in which CP3 missed nine while Blake Griffin missed two (during that same 9 game span in which CP3 was out). Miami did get the best of LAC last night and no, we may not see the Clippers of their 17 game win streak from 11/28-12/30 due to CP3 and Griffin both returning during only their last game against Miami, but the fact of the matter is this. As Chris Paul and Blake Griffin have play together here in 2012-2013, the Clippers have gone 29-11 overall.

Very lengthy post and/or long winded for a gameday thread but with all that said, I'm more than ready for an Eastern Conference vs. Western Conference showdown amongst two top five NBA teams come Sunday afternoon. Highly anticipated ball game/matchup. As soon as I seen this game on our Knicks schedule heading into the regular season, I instantly became pretty hyped when thinking ahead. Well now's the time, and we've gone 6-1 during our last 7 games and have also won 5 consecutive home games inside of M.S.G.

1:00 - Knicks vs. Clippers.
3:30 - Heat vs. Lakers.
6:00 - Celtics vs. Nuggets.
8:00 - Brooklyn vs. Spurs.

It was nice to see a Knicks win last night while the likes of Brooklyn, Indy and Atlanta all losing last night but as you can see above, the Eastern Conference is back at it once again come Sunday. 33-16's the goal. A win come Sunday puts us 17 games above .500 for the first time this season. Think about that for a second. 17 games above .500 with one game remaining before our all-star weekend.

Same here. The Bulls have had our number but we're 2-0 against the Spurs and 2-0 against the Heat.

This is that type of game. Against a true contender. I like our chances in regards to holding out own.

Bledsoe against priggs or Kidd is pretty lopsided from what we have wittness with other speedy guards.

the only way to beat this team is to drain 3's as the clips are one of the worst (26th.. allow 38% 3fg) at the defending them..

Worried Shump will have an absolute stinker of a game- he's been struggling physically, it's started affecting him mentally, and now having to deal with trade rumours on top of everything while facing the best PG in the nba

What about the rest of the starting 5? Melo cannot start at the 4 this game.
