Oh so people are starting to realize how important Melo is and the way he is getting beatin up I wonder what kind of shape he will be in at the end of the regular season. Amare needs to step up and lead. We really need him now. TO START AND NOT COME OFF THE BENCH.

I agree that Melo is our team MVP. He's our most important player without question. We're only 2-2 without Melo, but when Melo plays, we have a shot at murdering anyone. I myself am worried about playing a team such as the Nets without Melo but at the same time, I understand that the talent and overall potential of this Knicks team with or without Melo is much greater when compared to the likes of Brooklyn. We destroyed Miami without Melo and in my eyes, the Nets are nothing special. We've had two away games against Brooklyn, two close games, but they're the most overrated team in basketball in my eyes.

The Nets lost to Minny at home in BK by 9 points, were murdered by the Heat by 30 in Miami, lost to a struggling Lakers team by 5 in L.A, lost by 9 to the Warriors in Golden State, lost by 13 against the Heat in Miami, lost to the Thunder at home in Brooklyn by 6 points, lost by 9 points to the Bucks at home in Brooklyn, lost to our Knicks team by 3 points at home in Brooklyn, (barely beat the Pistons at home in BK by 2 points during overtime), lost to the Bulls by 1 point in Chicago and just lost last night against the Jazz by 2 points at home in Brooklyn.

Most overrated team in basektabll. Only 13-11 overall and 5-5 on the road. The've also lost two consecutive and 7 of their last 9 have all been loses. So when you state that if Melo doesn't play against the Nets, that we'll to them out of honesty? I'll agree to disagree in regards to "just giving" this struggling Nets team a win before they've actually earned it.
