Houston scares me because they match up so well with us. they run they can shoot threes and they rebound

Asik looked like an all star against flu Tyson last game and Parsons is really underrated. Glad that it is a home game.

Ended up being pretty lucky at the end of the game (Anderson Varejao missing of the second free throw) but we fought hard tonight. Found a way to win. Men down and all. 18-5 overall to go along with an undefeated home record of 10-0. Luck happens (free throw misses) but luck usually never happens ten consecutive times in a row. Impressive to say the least.

Irving went off, kid was very impressive, but this was a strong team win. Just a feel good feeling. Even Chris Copeland makes his first NBA start and puts up 11 points off 4/5 shooting. 2/3 from beyond the arc. 1 board with only 1 turnover. Copeland provided us with a solid stop gap for Melo's (hopeful) return against Hoston. Old man Kurt Thomas gave us 14 solid minutes putting up 4 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, 1 block and 0 turnovers. Neither J.R Smith nor Jason Kidd shot well, but both came up big throughout the game. Novak was nice beyond the arc too, but I'd have to give both Felton and Chandler CO-MVP's of tonights game.

Felton put up 25 points off 9/20 shooting. Drained 3 of 4 from beyond the arc. Sunk all 4 free throws. Dished out 7 assists. Put up 5 boards to go along with 2 blocks. Our coach staff is running next practice because Felton only turned the rock over 1 time. Tyson Chandler was a man amongst men tonight. 23 points off 9/10 shooting. 10 strong boards off the glass including 5 offensive boards and 2 steals. Tipped the ball out for extra possessions at least 4 or 5 times? Tyson pretty much feasted. He ate good tonight. Could see the emotion in his game tonight. Both Felton and Chandler led the way during a night in which we were not only without our star talent in Carmelo Anthony, but also without Iman Shumpert, Amar'e Stoudemire, Marcus Camby and Rasheed Wallace. Pretty much three (quality) starters in Shumpert, Melo and Stoudemire along with two strong veteran role players in Rasheed and Camby.

Tonight was a good night of basketball. The Knicks won. Boston, Atlanta and Brooklyn all lost. We're now 5 full games ahead of the Nets and another 6 full games ahead of Boston for the Atlantic division. Putting the pressure to these opposing teams early (and often). More like nightly. Good night of Knicks basketball, but not perfect. Miami, Chicago and Indy all won tonight; Déjà vu of 1990's NBA basketball.

Nuff respect to Kyre Irving...Dude has the best handle I have seen in a while in the NBA at this young age...I found myself rewinding clips just watching his handle, changing directions, what a talent...

IrishKnicks; good call before the game today.

When you mentioned NY's recent struggles against Cleveland, I understood exactly what you meant. Wasn't harping or correcting anything or anyone; was only amped up heading into the game while trying to mention that lots these players (current Knicks team) weren't on our roster during those struggling time. Jason Kidd for example. Just talking ball. Good call though. It seems as if heading into the game you were mentally ready for a grind.

I'm not that worried about Houston though. I believe we'll find a way to win and could potentially win big. Especially if we return Melo at home inside of MSG. If the season were to end today, Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets don't make the playoffs. Only 11-11 overall. When thinking about it, all the pressure is on Jeremy Lin come Monday night, which gives Melo an extra day/night of resting up. I don't think Melo walks away from this matchup. Not against Harden and Lin. Not at home in New York he doesn't. If he's able walk, I believe he'll be lacing up.

But yea, if we could live through Irving's jaw-dropping performance tonight, I'm more than ready for a Raymond Felton vs Jeremy Lin showdown at the PG position. This is what basketball is all about.

Portlant, Indy, Toronto, Detroit, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Chicago, Wahsington, Miami (regular season loss), Boston, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami (postseason loss), Miami (postseason win), Philadelphia, Dallas, Indiana, Detroit, Milwaukee, Washington, Phoenix, Denver, Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland.

We've put up a home record of 22-2 dating back to when coach Woodson took over. Simply amazing. Coach Woodson has done something to this team. He's done something to this franchise. We believe in greatness (as a team) because of this man. It's been like this since day one too. Miami's been the only team who've gotten the best of coach Woodson here in New York since taking over. 2-2 against Miami at home (since Woodson).

I'm starting to agree with those who say we lack one thing......REBOUNDING !
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I agree, but when both Stoudemire and Camby return, that shouldn't be a cause of concern; especially when Stoudemire returns. It'll become a trickling effect in regards to improved ability to board off the glass.

Stoudemire will replace Melo at the PF position. Advantage Stoudemire off the glass. He actually rebounds like a natural PF when compared to an undersized and/or natural SF in Melo.

By Amar'e replacing Melo at the PF position, Melo would then replace Brewer at SF. And as we all know, Melo is much stronger off the glass when compared to Brewer.

Once Camby returns as well, we'll feature true BIG's who can board off the glass in Kurt Thomas, Rasheed Wallace, Amar'e Stoudemire, Tyson Chandler and Marcus Camby.

We shouldn't have a problem off the glass moving forward (just my opinion and/or outlook).

At least Woodson mentioned Camby today and said he was running. The Knicks need him.
