Hopefully we're not to the Nets what the Heat are to the Knicks... 0-2.

Lets improve to 16-5 overall while the Nets fall to 11-9 while riding a 5 game losing streak.

I don't care how the game looks. Who comes through. What the stats say... I just want a win against this Nets team.

This is as good as early season statement games get, Knicks can put the entire league under its thumbs and crush them now if they take the Nets, no one is safe from Melo Anthony

Nets are down 4 in a row now and they don't have the best home record, can be beat on a normal day and this is not a normal day, Nets struggles Knicks hottest team in the league.

Knicks have fresh memories of the OT loss and they'll be out hungry looking for the win back

Look for JR to come out drilling the rock, Knicks shoot 40 threes make 25, records are set Knicks own Nets until next time

I will not even entertain the thought of us losing to these pretenders- don't want to go there at all!

Lopez will probably be magically healed in time for the game. I expect Mr Kardashian to have a big game after he got benched in the last one. I expect Reggie Evans to annoy me.

Last game Wallace got awarded a flopping penalty afterwards- wondering if he and Evans will go for another.We may be a bit short on the front court if Wallace and Camby are still no goes- reffing may play a part. Hopefully we'll get another monster game from Tyson to even things out.

Hope we crush them! I'm still mad about that last game vs them!

Knicks need to play with discipline. 2 of their most hyped games so far they've come out looking like they want to prove something or make a statement and ended up playing sloppy ball. Those 2 games were Brooklyn and Houston. Knicks need to play their game. Move the ball, defend, hit the open 3. Deron plays well in games like these so we have to do a good job on him. Woodson has to make sure everyone has their nerves in check.

Both Reggie Evans and Trash Wallace fined already by Stern.

Those 2 games against Houston and Brooklyn got me pretty upset.

We can't take those games personally, somebody has to remind our big guns and tempo setters not to press so much. I can always tell if they are uptight when taking free throws they hit the back of the rim.

we pretty much gave the net game away last time. Obviouslyy i dont expect felton to go 3 for 19 again but i think the key is jr. also we have kidd back

BKN has the talent to run with anyone. They don't know how to close yet.

I think kNick fans can see the power of the trade that bought Gerald Wallace (and the exemption that allowed them so sign Reggie Evens)and what he brings to the team. Gerald is a hell of a player.

I remember Briggs pegged this kid when he was with SAC.

I have seen Deron play on TV a few times and don't see what some have compared him to Marbury. He does not scowl and seems to be a hell of a player with a decent on court attitude.

They don't have a flow to their game and they have not figured out the bench yet.

I like this rivalry.

We can talk nets on this thread? ITs a game day thread, ok right? I don't want anyone to get a rash or anything.

Disagree with you on Deron. He is indeed Marbury 2.0. Can put up great numbers from time to time, but his teams usually lose. If you look at a basketball dictionary of point guards that don't make other players better, it'd be Marbury 1 and Deron 1a. Most expensive backcourt($190mill) but seems to be least productive so far. Believe it or not Broke Lopez charmin ass is the glue to this team. 1-4 without Broke.
