Yes despite being without Dirk and Marion they look great. Mayo has been out of his mind. Players like him have had field days in the Garden in the past. Let's see how they handle him tonight. Some times I forget that they have players like Kaman and Brand on their team in addition to Collison, Carter, etc. This is a pretty deep team, albeit aging like our own. When they're healthy I think they'll be able to play with anyone.
Very excited to see the response Camby gets from the crowd tonight. Knicks have to continue the tight defense. i don't expect them to continue shooting like this, but the defense is somthing that can be the same every single night. |

Just get the win, an inferior opponent, coming into the Garden.
Last years team, pre-Woody would lose this. |

If we win this game, Im sure the haters will bark that the teams we are playing were missing key players, and the heat win was a pathetic sandy sacrifice

Kidd, despite being polite in interviews, is clearly mad with Cuban and all of his moaning and decision not to retire Kidds jersey (sheer spite)- hope we win this for him, but it won't be easy. Also watch out for Kayman- when healthy he can be pretty good on offense. Also Vincent is capable of turning back the clock. I though the Mavs would stink this year, but they've proved me wrong so far.

1) Want to thank Uncle Nalod for posting nice MavHo pics! Those are some premium-level rib cages...
2) Chris Kaman doesn't scare Tyson, and certainly is not scaring a hungry Cambyman! (Yes, I have psychological scanning insight to all Knicks players). Not to discount that a few nice Mr. Scaryeyes fouls nips Kayman in the bud as well. 3) JKidd plays not only smart tonight, but angry as well! 4) JRSmith, the new, improved, anti-Vincent 5) Can we hold them under 90 points? jrod says yessssss! |

I don't want to defend Mark Cuba, he's been a complete ******* about Kidd, but why would they be retiring Kidd's number anyway? Take a look at his http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/k/kiddja01.html]numbers, does that really look like someone who should have his number retired by Dallas? It sort of reminds me of when there was talk a few years ago about the Knicks retiring Mark Jackson's number. Now the joy of my world is in Zion
How beautiful if nothing more
Than to wait at Zion's door
I've never been in love like this before
Now let me pray to keep you from
The perils that will surely come

Now we assume wins and worry about "Haters" response? Worry about the game. |

Knicks have to come with the same intensity on D and make everything difficult for the Mavs. That's been the key to our wins and it's still going to be the key. Play smart and efficient on offense and lock them down on D. The Mavs have some capable offensive players and a great coach, but the Knicks have to win games like this at home. It's all about the effort level and sustaining it for 48 minutes.

Hey look if the Knicks can establish dominance at home they'll win this division and host a playoff series. This has to be where they set the tone for this season.

What the hell, MSG? I come home, trying to get pumped for my Friday Night Knicks, and you decide play Knicks/Bulls and make me watch Jordan put up 54 on us in the playoffs?
Anyways, we're obviously catching a break with no Dirk or Marion tonight, but this team doesn't want to hear whining while we're out Amar'e and Shump. Time to piss off Cuban! |

You know what I love about this team? We dont have any cringe worthy players like TD, Fields post Melo trade, etc.
We have either experience or skill at every single position and a coach who really knows what he is doing. I supported MDA but it just didnt work - Woody seems to really get the NY vibe and he knows his defense. The turnaround is legit - this is a real basketball team - FINALLY.
