I tell you Rahseed has porgressed very quickly from his layoff. I know his wont play big minutes but the guy can still defend and still shoot the 3

I'm talking style of play rotations. They're going to be thrown off. Melo is playing the 4 okay and he is for the most especially if you go back to last season as the stats do support this, the team is better with Melo playing Power Forward. Problem is that's the same position Amar'e plays. Melo would have to slide to the 3 if Amar'e doesn't accept a bench role this is going to be a problem. We're going to be used to playing a certain way. If you count the 18-6 record and then add 5 more weeks of games and say we're above .500 then the sample leans more towards what's the identity of this team?

Like I said the rotation gets out of sorts sorta because where do you play Smith/Brewer/Novak with Shumpert on the recovery/mend behind Kidd?

and that prigs pass on the fast break was one of the coolest, smartest, not quite beautiful but awesome play i've seen in a game...

outside demonstratives, this team has game...so far...

we shall see...

I think we have a smart coaching staff unlike the last one that will know the best interest of the team concerning Amare. I honestly dont' think he will hurt the team. Look at Novak when he is on the court. He is a horrible defender but with team defense it's hidden. We will be fine with or without Amare. People forget also Amare did get defensive tips from Hakeem as well. He didn't only go for post moves.


Actually l think Novak's d has improved quite a bit as well
