It always amazes me how teams that push so hard for a goal(win the east/1st place/home court/etc) usually breakdown late in the season.

The Pacers are the second most overrated team in the history of the NBA. (2002 NJ Nets are the first)

Correct! They had a hot streak in the playoffs, and all the media forgot we almost beat them and we weren't even playing great. That hot spell was aided by the BS 'Hibbert rules'. I don't like them, so after having to endure the endless praise for them early in the season, I'm glad to see them come back down to earth.

And then they almost beat Miami

Yep, they got hot against the Heat, and that even carried through to the start of the season- but they were playing above their abilities.

Hawks have earned their playoff spot. They had a rough stretch, but really have pulled it together and played good BB to clinch their playoff spot. Teague has been a real leader for them. If the Knicks had him they'd surely have locked up a playoff spot. The biggest weakness of the Knicks is at PG. Upgrade the one spot and this is a playoff team.

Carlisle needs to get some COY consideration. Not just for the team but he actually made Ellis a good decent player which is insane.

Beverly played 33 minutes tonight after tearing his meniscus. Hope the doctors were right in letting him come back.

I was hoping the Suns would make the playoffs- they deserve to after what they accomplished this season compared to expectations. Looks like they've blown it, unfortunately.

wow! Indiana getting every call from the refs. Strange.

Westbrook taking too many shots away from KD.

Lance Stephenson seems like the best offensive player on the Pacers. David West seems to do everything right.

George and Hibbert seem very streaky.

I feel the same way.

they blew a 21 point lead in SA and then Dragic hurt his ankle and was not too agile against Dallas (and they still competed to the end).

if Indiana gets reffing like this in the playoffs, they can go pretty far

OKC looks out of sorts, part of that has to do with Indiana's defense.

God I can't stand Lance Stephenson
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

I wonder where Indiana would be without Lance.

Westbrook - ugh. Hate the chucking.

Perkins could be the worst big man in the NBA

Scott Brooks is not very smart playing Perk

I don't think that OKC makes it out of the west. They have a number of glaring holes.

thunder might consider trading westbrook. he is going to hurt his team with that level of scoring inefficiency in the playoffs. 3-10 from 3 and only 5fta. as with jr smith, those numbers need to be reversed. looks like he's calling his own number too much.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
