Alright, it's high expectations for a guy who's as unpopular around here as Zach is. I'll give you some credit for that.

We just have to bear in mind that in a system designed to score 120 ppg guys will have inflated stats. It's only meaningful if it amounts to wins. But just seeing guys are scoring over 20 ppg does not in itself mean they're having good seasons, as Marbury's entire career can testify to.

Lots of guys on this team will have a "good" year (inflated stats) but lets keep perspective on what that means. FWIW, same hold true for rebs. The more shots put up per game the more rebound opportunities there will be.

I think for this team, this year, the stats on 82games.com will be more meaningful than ever.

And I never knew 4949 was the kind of guy who likes rocks thrown at his nuts...

houston didn't even make the first preseason game, because of injury (already). He won't last a week on the floor.

Disagree. He'll get through his quad injury and his shooting will prove to be very valueable, along with his leadership and experience. Who else, besides Malik, has played more playoff games than Allan, on this roster? Nobody.

Yeah, here's an epic one:

35 wins.

Reasoning: If everyone is healthy, happy, and on the same page? 38 wins. An injury? 35 wins. Two? 32 wins. A malcontent? 28 wins... etc...

So, as I've predicted the past four years each and every year: 35 wins.

Alrite, its new season but this is not just another season, this is gonna be the knicks best season since JVG left. I believe they will play above .500 basketball for the rest of the season after the all-star break or maybe as early as December. D Lee will be an all- star. Nate will be our starting PG. Chandler will start and from that point on our record will be above .500 We will beat the Suns both times this season. We will not have any more sucky 1st quarters like we did all of last year.

What's up? So this is where the predictions go.

The Knicks will win around 45 games. It seems to me that just the change of culture and system will do wonders for this team. If you recall 06-07 (?), they were in the playoff race very late into the season until Jamal and Lee got hurt. And this was under Isiah. I'm very optimistic about this team and it seems that the players are as well, judging by the post-camp comments and their performance in the Toronto game. Two HUGE indicators of this change of attitude are Marbury accepting a bench role and Z-Bo acting like a human being for the first time in his career. Z-Bo's willingness to play along and fit in is awesome.
