ROFL. And the Knicks will still only get pick #3 in the draft.

Bold Prediction: Channing Frye will threaten to make the All-Star team!

That's hardly an ass hang...that's like saying Jason Kidd will get a lot of triple doubles! It's a foregone conclusion.

Come back with your ass hanging....

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Knicks finish 8th in the East and make the playoffs. We will run the Celtics ragged in the first round but lose to them. The Celtic's aging stars will be so tired that they lose in the next round.

D'A will get coach of the year award.

Nate will lead the team in steals with 2/game - more than double this past years stats. And win the 6th man award. Nate will block shots by taken by Darko, Marko and Camby..
Jamal and Q will both hit 40% from the 3 pt range.
Marbury will be here til Dec 31. Then self-destruct.
Zach will lead the team in scoring 20pts/game. Also will have 10rpg and 3 assists/game.
Lee leads in rebounds at 12/game. Is re-signed to 4 years $40 million and made team co-captain
Eddy will be traded by Nov 1.
JJ2 will have a productive year.

atleast you're a good sport about it.

True ass-hang: The Knicks will trade Zach Randolph by the trade deadline to a contender because he's having such a great season stats-wise as well as chemistry-wise.

A sport about what? Everybody knows it's Channing's year...

Finish it off: Trade ZR for who/what...?

Okay, I'll get the party started: Zach Randolph will average about 25 points and 12 rebounds per game. Behind those numbers and moderate success of the Knicks, Zach Randolph will not only threaten to, but he will make the all-star team!

You just have a thing for PFs who loiter around the 3 point line. But how many wins ass-man, how many wins?

Never mind, I just found your prediction. After calling my 36 win prediction a lame ass-hanging you went and copied it.

Posted by oohah:

You're just jealous cause I don't have to rely on ranges. I give you one number, and that's before a single preseason game.

So where's your ass in all of this? What are you waiting for, ass-master?

I don't have a true ass-hang in regard to the Knicks 2008-2009 record, but I do have a number in mind:

36 wins!

Now join me in the 2008-2009 ass-hang thread over here: http://ultimateknicks.com/forum/topic.asp?t=28345

oohah, I take thy challenge:

You know I have always hated Stephon Marbury, right? Well, this will be the year he turns it all around, for me, for the world.

Marbury will become the heart, the catalyst of this team we call the New York Knicks. He will average 14 points and 12 assists. More importantly, he will be a true leader, for Mike D'Antoni will show him the light. He will be receptive and unselfish, but not to a fault. He will take and make clutch shots, while shooting over 50%. His defense will be lockdown.

And those 36 wins I predicted? Here is why it is an ass-hang. Because those 36 double-u's will get us into the playoffs by a half game over the Nets in the final game of the season. We will win by one point, off of a ferocious put-back slam by Marbury as the clock expires. We then beat the Celtics in the first round in a surprisingly ho-hum 5 game series. The media is all over the Marbury Garnett fued, but Marbury wins hands down, no discussion. We then breeze through the Pistons and Miami to go to the championship series. I am not sure if we win.

All I can say is, wow! . That is one of the most amazing ass-hangs of the millennium, even more so because it is a total reversal of your stance in previous years! It is almost like they are the words of another person!

You are now on the record! Bravo, sir, Bravissimo!

suckbury will earn his name back by thriving in the new D'Antoni system, because first of all, he already proved he can play almost a full game and under the run and gun system, it will FINALLY' be something suckbury can accomplish.

I'm going to climb out on a high limb here, but two Knicks will average 18 or better points a game, three others will average 14 or better points and another three will have 10 and over a game.

That's ten players in double digits.

The team will average 25 assists a game.

The team will average 114 points a game.

The Knicks will end up with 40 or more wins and make the playoffs in a stunning turn-around.

But' they will lose in the playoffs in the second round.

But also in the end, every Knick fan and every poster, new and old, on this board will be proud of a team that some of us thought would never work.

So there you go! My balls and ass are hanging out there for all to throw rocks at. GOD PLEASE MAKE IT COME TRUE!!!
I'll never trust this' team again.

1. Knicks win 33 games.
2. Bobcats make the playoffs
3. Marbury demands more playing time
4. Cavs lose in the second round
5. Bulls miss the playoffs again

Gallinari will play under 40 games.
Curry will block under 50 shots.
Anthony Roberson and Allan Houston will be cut.
David Lee will start 20 plus games at center.
Malik Rose will be traded but no other significant roster moves will happen.

Equation for the knicks record : We went 13-19 when we scored over 100. Add the fact that Eddy Curry will not be in the Starting line-up and Quentin is healthy. 13-19 becomes 19-13. Add in the fact that Marbury is still on the team and is terrible for their chemistry 19-13 turns into 15-17 which equals 32 games added up. 82 games in the season divided by a 32 games span is 2.6. 2.6 multiplied by 15 equals 39. Throw in a dash of pessimism and we got 38. Knicks win 38 games this yr and miss the playoffs by 4 games.

Oh...and Nate averages 17ppts 7ast 5rbs 3stl while shooting 48% from the field and 39% from 3

That wouldn't be hanging my ass out, that would be blowing my brains out.

But you're hardly hanging your ass out hyping Zack. You've been in utter denial about him for years.

I love the equation thing. Not what I used to pick 40 wins, but that 38 is right next door to it. Good job.

25/12 plus an all-star bid!? for a guy people think should be traded for a second round pick? With Curry, Crawford, and Marbury chucking?

Oh, my ass is hanging all right...not as much as 4949's nuts n' cheeks, but it be hanging!
