LOL!! Juwan Howard elected to not play with Garnett but decided to join forces with Mcgrady. Good Choice!! Why would someone sign with a team that keeps getting bounced in the first round. Howard has a better chance out east. http://espn.go.com/nba/news/2003/0713/1580308.html

...but Mourning is going to the nets....
No matter though... No matter how many guns the nets think will get them over the top, they won't.

Kidd, Zo, and Mutumbo does NOT make them shoe-ins for a title. Even if they managed to make it outta the East, LA (or SA) have their number.

If Zo really wanted a title, SA would have been the better choice. Same goes for Kidd. They both wanted the payday (especially Zo lucky to get 4 yrs @20Mil), and got it.

Now with that out of they way....

What are our KNICKS gonna do???

Scott Laydown doesn't have a damn clue.

As you noticed no one hasn't accepted to go to San Antonio cause no one really wants to be the bridesmaid to Tim Duncan. It's Tim Duncan's team and no one got the balls to pull a David Robinson by stepping aside and realizing i'll be the #2 guy. Also, If Kidd had gone out west, He would not have been known to be a top five player out west(skillwise and marketing as well). Signing with NJ, he remains probably the most attractive and appealing figure in the tri-state area. It's Kidd's team, he's the franchise. As for Zo, based on his health condition, it's better he remains in the east with the less competition as opposed to the west, where they would've eaten him alive.

Another report is in but don't know how accurate. On WFAN 660, Someone has mentioned that Gilbert Arenas has agreed to play for Miami Heat on a contract. #'s on the contract has not yet been disclosed. We shall see!!!

Gilbert Arenas will have to deal with Riley's boot camp style , somethinbg he knows nothing about. But then again money has a way to make guys clean up after themsleves.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

If true, Gilbert Arenas is a big COUP for Riley. Devastating news for the hapless Warriors.

i never thought andre was worth 90 million but denver did a good job getting him. there back court is good for the next 7 years.

to me free agency and the cba is working, you just cant get tied into stiff's with long term deals. this will weed out the travis knights of the nba

the western confernce is off the charts they wil be better this year as a whole compared to last year.

if mourning is 60 pct of mourning than the nets are a western conference team.

I think Kiki erred... should have gotten Arenas instead of what looks like Miller and Kandi.

Can you imagine a backcourt of Arenas and Anthony? It could have been the Killa A's!!

Yeah, Instead you have TWO Free Agents going to LA for peanuts to be "bridesmaids" to Shaq and Kobe. They are in it for the rings too. Did that take balls? Sounds like they made a punk move to me.

LA didn't even win the title last year and they pulled that off. SA will be alright regardless.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Let me tell you something Prod... when I see about eight and half mill per for Andre Miller and P.J. Brown... I assure you... Arenas will be worth every penny. This is an up and coming STAR!!

right now gilbert aint worth more than 9 million and you heard it here first Jermaine Oneal is the next Juwan Howard 120 million is too much for this guy.

Very good playa young but does any one see him able to carry a team to a championship.

love gilberts game but one season then asking for over 10 million. nah gilbert sit your stupid azz down some where you cant get that

I agree Jermaine ain't worth 120M but, he's worth a lot more than Juwan Howard was to Washington. At least O'Neal is a sure thing... I also didn't say Arenas was worth more than 9M... I said in comparison to the contracts of Andre Miller and P.J. Brown.. he was value on a relative basis.

If you saw as much, you'd be churping like yours truly. He has the quickest first step to the basket for a bigger guard... he's a scoring machine.

i watched gilbert alot when he was in Arizona, i thought he was the best at UVA of course we draft the undersized power foward.

So i have seen him play a bunch.

He is good but i would give him market price, becuase it's all about CAP, he is not that good where he can cARRY a good team by himself so you cant over pay him.

pike you got to remember the deepest position in the nba, you can find a quality 6'3 guy, gotta be careful overpaying a point guard. if you don't have to, if i was golden state i would of traded him last year.

yall know i kill miller but i think he got what h is worth what was it 55 million for 6 years. i think thats about nba worth for miller.

indiana will lose some talent they paidron 60 million, oneal 120 and brad is still out there. so look for tinsley to get traded.
