Last night win set the tone for DRob's last chance to dance. And with no help from officiating, Nets need to find a way to beat SA...cuz they can! For sure, Captain Kidd did not want to expend too much energy in this opener, that's fine, but don't think he'll be playing like that throughout the series. KMart played a decent game, as the series wear on he will be a major contributor. With that said, Richard Jefferson needs to bring his "A" game EVERY NIGHT.

If Jersey can shake off the early foul trouble to keep a focus rotation with Motumbo getting more minutes, NETS will be in the mix.

BTW, DEKE had good hustle last night, DRob had vintage game.

Jackson makes K-9's all YOUgly squad

The nets by all means can get swept by SA in the series. Just like that they lost the "mental edge" that they had coming into the Finals. As I watched the game, I laughed my *** off noticing a few things:

  • Kidd was inconsistent for the first time in these playoffs. Yes, look for it to happen again. Parker played him straight-up, which may have gotten under Kidd's skin.

  • BroKenyon was so-so, yet still proved to be NO match for Duncan (and I am SO tired of that cat muggin' for the cameras and all the damn posin', it almost can't be expressed in words).

  • Robinson obviously wants to go out on top, from the way he played. The nets weren't ready to see him bringin' it like that in this series.

  • Jefferson is a softee, and it showed like all hell in game 1. He peed his panties the most out of all the nets, and it was damn funny to watch. Viagra won't help him now- mark my words.

  • Skerry Skittles was nowhere to be found. Hilarious...

To sum it all up, Spurs in 4 would make my day. I have a grudge against them, but the chip on my shoulder for the nets is a whole lot bigger.

What kind of Knicks fan with any sense would root for the nets to win, anyway?!?!

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Hard core, the only thing i might change is i will name him Kerry BRITTLES, to all those reading, the nets are great in the east but in the west they don't got enough bullets. they got 4 guys looking to shoot, and all four are good but flawed, Jefferson jumper in inconsistent, kenyon has to go up against a bigger stronger guy who is almost as agile.Jason jumper is inconsistent, and the Harris not kittle harris is the fouth option but he is sticktly pereimeter.

The you look at the spurs, with tim who offensively has the total package, i hate the cornball, but no one can shut him down especially overated deke. parker is a tough match up for kidd. the annoncer on ABC that used to play for the spurs said it, kidd is a big guy, parker is sleek and quick, parker don't know where he going how is kidd going to know, kidd will prolly win that matchup but in spots parker will make him look bad.

Bobby... if Byron continues to stupidly single team Duncan with KMART, Martin cannot stay out of foul trouble. The Nets must adjust... Kidd has to come out with twice as much energy and hit a jump shot... Jefferson has to stop playing like he's lost out there... and Kittles has to stop being brittle. Also, I think it's ridiculous to expect anything out of Mutombo at this point. People overlook the fact that the Spurs are capable of playing very good team defense.

The good news, the Nets were so bad in game one, it probably can only get better.

Having said this, this series could get ugly real fast... Spurs in 5.

Pike if you were objective , you would bring up Robinson hasn't played consistently all yr in playoffs. His points and reb and blocks will be missed when his body gives out playing near back to back games. Mutumbo was traded for a time like this!
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

IF I WERE OBJECTIVE?? Hahahaha... whatever Robinson brings (which is more than you can comprehend)... is value add and more than enough for the Spurs to get past the Nets. The Admiral has his productive moments... and to compare him to Mutombo's situation is ridiculous. Mutombo hasn't played AT ALL.

i prolly won't catch the game tonight but if duncan gets 30 points 20 rebounds 6 assist and 7 blocks again...then it's two games to zero spurs.
all those years as a fan and now i'm the anti-knick. life is crazy aint it.

Bait #1: parker don't know where he going how is kidd going to know, kidd will prolly win that matchup but in spots parker will make him look bad Parker is not even in the same SENTENCE with Kidd, try again Ares.

Bait #2: BroKenyon was so-so, yet still proved to be NO match for Duncan (and I am SO tired of that cat muggin' for the cameras and all the damn posin', it almost can't be expressed in words). Yeah, who was zooming who in Game 2?

Bait #3: nets will be lucky to win a game Lady Luck looking good Bro.

Lemme hear your game 3 PREDICaments....predictions are out of the question
