why was my gundy thread deleted, as i read the forum, i see topics way off base. but none deleted. you seem to only delete my post.

Andrew , thanks for being a great moderator, if we had one in our last site , it would have never shut down.

for those of you who don't know or haven't figured it out, Andrew and I own, run, moderate, build, add new features, etc. for ultimateknicks.com (although we do have many outside contributors, for which we are very thankful). Especially for the forums, it's all about interesting, intelligent conversation and opinions. We try to guide it that way. Anyone can have their own opinion, and we do respect that, but we also would like to keep it a place that is not inundated with conversation that would dilute the forums themselves (repeated rants, users just bashing other users, etc... you get the idea).

Martin , my post was simply why is there so many threads against Van gundy? i don't see what was off base about that. i have seen alot worse. From what your response this is apparently a good question. One Van gundy thread is enough considering he no longers coaches NEW york. so i am interested in knowing what was wrong with that thread.

from what I read you got mock drafts, to 2007 and one gut posting a new thread on Jeff Van gundy every day 2 and a half years after he resigned. but i guess you have a alert on my post after i called you out on scott Layden. I cant tell you guys what to do with the site, but i'm guessing your aspiration will falter. There will never be progressive , inteligent ground breaker talk on this site. just clones repeating news article's and threads of Gundy, sucks. nothing meaningful. alot of it due to moderation. but hey it's your investment. enjoy the gundy talk , and trust in about a month you will be sick of playa too.

Sure, we get the idea and recognize the fact that this is your place. We're also glad to see you appreciate the rather large increase in traffic and volume due to the Daily News cutting out it's long running forums.

For years, Ares was a top gun at the News.. very smart guy, though a bit abrasive. All we ask, is you not take the censorship too far. It seems to me, the only person who's been looking for it, in an aggressive manner, is Doobie... we've tried to refrain from how we normally respond to rhetoric like his... we'll leave that up to you.

Martin, Ares has been finding fault against me for a long time , so to me it's not unusual for him to criticize my post or when he came to the other knicks site and got banned. I recognize that everyone doesn't think like Ares(aka ice). But he has people who like his abrasive way of talking about sports. I am suprised he has come to you complaining though. I post this because he spoke NEGATIVE on my post's in which I am intitled too. Your topic of discussion even state's Gundy's honda civic which was also yrs ago. Tell me this, what is his motivation to complain
